Of course if he downloaded a different version of the game.  If you purchase the current gen console and download the same version of the game that you had on your old console your entire team and coins will be there. So please don't tell me that it's not correct. Because I did switch from old gen console to current but installed the same version of the game and I have everything.

Yes, I tested this. I went from Xbox one to Xbox Series X/S console only. I download both versions of the game. On the X/S version yes you start over. However if you download Xbox one version that you were playing your entire team, coins and progress is intact.  It doesn't transfer over if you change versions of the game only and not console.

yeah if you play the xbox one version on  a series console of course your team will be there its the same game lol he is talking about playing the series version of madden 24 your team does not carry over from the xbox one to xbox series madden 24

Let me get this right.I bought the xbox series s and downloaded both versions but decided to play on the xbox one platform ,if i decided to log in to new (gen series s)would all my stuff be there or not?

That is what I stated. As long as you play the same version of madden 24.

Sorry. I misunderstood you originally. You are correct, if a person has a PS4 and is playing on the PS4 version and they decide to upgrade to a PS5 and they play the PS4 version of MUT on their PS5, their MUT stuff will still be there.

If they want to play the PS5 version of MUT they would start from scratch.

I still cant for the life of me understand why they changed this. For years since newgen came out everything would transfer (i just did it like last year) now all of a sudden it doesnt. Why? Whats the benefit? Its not even like its some scummy ploy for EA to make more money, because what kind of 1d10t would reward them by spending more money to start over? No one. Lol just pointless.
