I just bought a ps5 and picked up madden 24 (ps5 physical disc) on sale at GameStop. I have all my progress on my PS4. How can I play PS4 version on ps5? It's too late to start over from scratch.

If you own the disc of the ps4 version, you should be able to put that in your ps5 and install it from there. If you own the digital version of madden 24, you should be able to download the ps4 version from your games library

I have the digital version of PS4 but bought ps5 physical version recently for the ps5. PS4 version will transfer over regardless?

You should just need to download the ps4 version of m24 onto your ps5. As long as you use the same account and you play the ps4 version of the game on your ps5 all your progress should be there
