Have you tried fearless at all? It makes a huge difference sometimes. I get perfect passes when a guy is hanging on me , that extra fraction of time makes a difference.
Except on Daniel Jones LOL. His under pressure trait is oblivious , so if he gets the ball out with someone within a pubic hair of him, he doesn't flinch...but it also means that you don't get any feedback on your controller if you are about to get sacked LOL

I actually had no idea Oblivious was good lol. I always thought that was a bad trait to have for Senses Pressure, but that makes a lot of sense unlike Paranoid.

I don’t think I’ve used Fearless on anyone. I normally only put minimal abilities on my QB. I like to spread the AP around to everyone and try to play a balanced game.

I don't know if it is good.....because you have to be looking at the pass rush as well as your receivers because you won;t get a heads up when there's pressure....so he may take more sacks and therefore fumble more....but if you can avoid that oblivious is actually not bad

You should try it in practice mode or something. See if it pops for you....I was not a believer at beginning of the season but I have seen a lot of throws made that would normally have been affected by pressure

Yeah of course. I wasn't expecting much but when I got a fearless under pressure perfect throw indicator on the screen and saw Elway make this incredi-throw while the controller was vibrating, I was sold!

Hmmm not sure. All I know is my test with those set abilities mentioned was extremely sound. I even used a brand new Elway so his stats reset. Something about the abilities. Very possible IMO that GS does much less to improve slinger 1 QBs than others. That’s just a theory tho.

I tend to agree. GS does less for faster releases. I have a feeling it may bring them all up to a certain set level

It’s what logic is leading me to believe as well. It makes a lot of sense.

…tested Elway, Young and Brunell release speeds with SFL (or PLE) and GS equipped. Young averaged .01 faster!! Didn’t expect it

Preference. Both are excellent and will play the same way in whatever scheme you run. All comes down to the abilities you choose
So I sold Brunell and got young and I have no regrets . Young is doing doing great for me and his release with gunsling actually feels a bit fast than Brunells to me . Really enjoying the young card.
The OP raises a good question. The answer depends on your scheme. I'm using Brunell with Set Feet Lead, Hot Route Master & Fearless for 5 AP. I run the Jets playbook and a Gun Split scheme that relies on the run, complemented by quick & intermediate passes. That works GREAT with Brunell's Slinger 1 release. Now, Brunell is NOT great on the super deep throws, as Slinger 1 struggles with passes >40 yards downfield.
So if your scheme doesn't rely on a ton of bombs, I'd go with Brunell. If you want to be able to throw bombs with a good release, stick with Young.
