This. I’m all for making smart market decisions, but at the end of the day its still pixelated NFL cards.
I’m always curious for people with gigantic coin stacks. Saving is great, but considering how the game is already halfway done when will the coins be spent? I see no use in ending the year with millions of coins
Think it about it this way. Markets crash when the new cards are top end. That will mean that the cards you are buying (in the future) won’t be as gas as they once were. If you care about a cards performance just buy it now. If this game is just a team builder than wait till the start of new Season.

Last year at the end of the year everyone seemed to be scrambling to get rookies for this year. I started late and only maxed out around 600k.
I was able to get Zay Flowers, Darnell Washington, John Michael Schmitz, Anthony Bradford, Christian Gonzalez, Tuli Tuipulotu & Bijan Robinson for this year. They helped at the start of this year. I imagine the people that had a full rookie team of 84 OVR + Aidan Hutchinson had a better start than me and it probably cost them a few million.

When EA stops dropping discounted platinum offers in the store bundles. It's their version of inflation where they pump money into the economy so people will overspend on cards driving the prices on everything up.
The base 93s will slowly come down so the training market can adjust to the new mystery pack (I believe according to MUT.gg the rate is below 5 for the first time all year).
however, the top end cards aren’t going to move much until we get cards to replace them. There was a mini crash before the CH2 promo (think Gronk got down to like 1.1) before everything sky rocketed back up when it was announced as a trash promo.
playoffs should be coming on 1/11, so that may drop the market slightly

Most of the time, it was about $540k for one set. I think the whole thing wound up costing me like $14 million. But I will say that Hutchinson was absolutely dominant the first two months this year. I sold the card for about $400k after a few weeks. When I looked the following month, it still cost $400k in the auction house.
