Hey guys I just lost a really frustrating game to someone who was getting pressure almost instantly on me by running Mike Blitz every play. My O-Lineman are 96, 94, 96, 95, and 97 overalls so that can't be the problem. Any suggestions on how to play against Mike Blitz.
Gotta make quicker reads. But at the same time be patient. Know where their user is and how you can expose them.
One fun counter to people spamming blitzes is to have a couple TE’s in gun formation. Then motion the running back out wide for a streak route. A lot of the time he’ll be matched up against a MLB or a safety with bad coverage stats. if not, find the slowest guy on his team and just wait for your guy to get a little separation, then throw the bomb on him! (While blocking with 7)

Also don’t be afraid to take 3-6 yards at a time. Out and in routes can crush man coverage if you time the throw right.
Then there’s always ol’ faithful. RUN STRETCH
Counters and under center runs are pretty good against Mike blitz. As well as condensed sets

Lol maybe I should just pick up Dickerson and pretend it’s Madden 20 again
An ability you must have in your oline is Identifier, so that you know who your opponent is usering.
If you’re a Pats fan and use the Pats playbook, there are several Gun formations that use your RB as a receiver, with routes running to the sides and away from the blitz coming from the center.
You also can counter attack if you have a fast TE, the TE Attack formation can catch your opponent off guard because the TE runs behind the blitz. One successful play you get like 20-30 yards and the other guy stops blitzing.

I stopped using it and am happy saving the 1ap. Its almost always their best sub lb and they generally move him around pre snap anyways. Rare occasion it's their line and I usually tee off with pa crossers if they can't get pressure
If you’re talking about the Mike blitz loop blitz out of 335 wide, the only way to block it consistently is by blocking your TE. If you block your running back the contain will loop around him and you’ll get sacked. Next time this happens try blocking the TE
