Why is this the most heavily shit on mode in the game? (people on twitter hate it). I have so much fun playing games with my friends as opposed to against them. I also think there is a lot of skill involved in being a good user receiver for your QB. People say it's glitchy or too arcade mode, but I can't find an example where it is any less glitchy or arcadey than normal h2h.
Personally, I have nothing against mut squads. But it's not my cup of tea.
The only thing I know about mut squads is a lot of the top plays of the week on the official mut twitter came from it. The tackling just looked bad in those squads clips much worse than you'd see in any h2h game
It can be a real gamble if you just match with anyone. But it's chaotic fun

thats definitely true, but have you ever clicked on and dove in a H2H game to make a tackle? Those clips are the result of 3 guys trying to do just that. Which is fine but it takes the 3 closest defenders and makes them all dive even though only one of them is in position to make a tackle. Those Are just really bad squads players. The good players either dont click on or you’ve got a designated guy that maybe is better at lining it up that clicks on. So ya the mut highlights paints it in a pretty cheesy light. if they had a category for best route run or something it would be a lot cooler. When as a user receiver you run a good double move, or you stick a guy really well it’s actually tons of fun.
I would love to run mut squads, but I have no friends😢. Well at least no friends that play Madden.

Just play with randoms, that’s what I do. It’s a muckfest, but sometimes you’ll get good teammates who are down to team up and run games with them

Good to know that not every squads game is like that.
How easy would you say it is to be a good route runner in squads? My only experience with running routes is as a wr in the career modes. Playing against the cpu, it never felt that challenging to get open. Are people actually good at covering receivers in squads?

Oh I’d never try it that way. I have a few friend or i’ll post on xbox And try to find someone to play with.

Oh it’s way more difficult, this year you had to have sie or rt to be able to beat man coverage but a lot of squads players will play man 2 high, so you get doubled a lot more. Users aren’t great at covering receivers, but press was kind of OP so they’d try to press you if you use the same receiver every play. What’s really tough as a qb you have to account for 2 user defenders
