My main gripe when it comes to mut is all of the cards are pretty much the same for instance today they released 4 UL cards and why buy any of them unless you like the player alot or running a theme team i suppose. I have the free 99 Madden and have TT remix Armstead along with Gravedigger so why get Sapp? I don't need Branch cause I already have Megatron whose free,Moss and BB Allen so why get Branch? Same thing with all the players pretty much. I guess I could use Ditka and his 0ap RT but I already have Vernon and Gronk and even Waller. I remember way back when I first started mut back in madden25 and even madden 15 and it seemed like with every new card release they would have cards that you wanted or they were the best at that time but for years now alot of new card releases they bring out cards that really aren't worth it to upgrade over your current card. Same thing goes for most if not all the theme team remix cards. Plus all of these cards get the same abilities for the most part. I just feel like at a certain point when your team is set that they dont give you many good reasons to get excited about newer cards. Maybe its not a bad thing considering you can still be competitive with cards that are considered old or have been around for a month or two but I enjoy having cards to target and to improve my team. In all fairness it is the end game and we only have 3 months left.
This is what I feel like too, like why do all 6’5 wide recievers need 98 speed? Why not taller guys be slower because they are slower and short guys be faster? Having everyone get 98 speee makes for people not changing their players.
At this point in the year just use who you want that's the whole point of these players

Yeah, balancing newer franchises in an all-time game mode is difficult. It’s one of the best arguments for the 32 team players because we want Texans and panthers theme teams to be viable because by now they’re established franchises in the NFL.
yup, unless a RB has (free tank), Oline (free SP) Dline (free inside stuff) Lbers (free tackle Supreme) Safety (free tackle Supreme or Acro) . There is no point in trying out or buying new players and if said new player does get the above required AP ,why pay more ?
Thats why abilities hurt the game.
Abilties > Thresholds > then physical stats if theyre all the same.
The shorter players hit Thresholds faster to make up for the difference but now that everyone is 99 you just pick the best 0 abilities and biggest person.
Sapp always plays better than other cards but it doesnt make that much difference at this point at the end of a game
Ya I think that's a by product of dragging out content for too long.
Compare to the Show where they released 99's right off the bat.
Two different philosophies of how the game mode should work. One company that keeps content and content road maps a secret so they can generate buzz through sneak peak and reveal events. This plays into the whole premise that EA views this game mode as some addictive gambling cash cow, keeping their customers on the edge of the seat chasing that next big pull. The other company cuts straight to the point and let's players build how they want to build without limiting it TOO much by drip fed content.
Tom Brady and the likes chasing down Deion on picks! Pursuit in some teams in general! I have 99 spd, acc, and pursuit and my guys never enter the screen…. Yet I play players the chase me down with a 5-10 yard lead!
The doubling reaction and knockouts of zone knockouts! Man should have something similar without having to use OSA‘s which is usually a step behind on some routes! Double up some man coverage! Also, playing mid zone and calling cover 4 shouldn’t work! The improved zone coverage should match the play, mid should work on hooks, seems and curls not when 2 and single high! zone abilities should only work when matched with the play called!

which is why i dont go for GOAT lineups for most of the year……i stick with a TT for the majority of it then will switch to a GOAT lineup if there are enough cards released that i love……this year i didnt do that, i went from my TT to now carry an all OOP lineup
