Had a thought a moment ago.

We previously had 12 AP on both offense and defense, it was reduced to 6&6.

I had an interesting thought that it would be cool instead of 6&6. 12 total you can choose how you spend...

You can be balanced, heavy offense, heavy defense. Or even just be one ability short and go 5&7.

Made a poll because I wonder if y'all agree or disagree?

For me it would depend a bit on the meta. If abilities aren't balanced and one side of the ball wins most of the time I think spending all or heavily on one side would best. If the abilities on both sides are pretty balanced it makes more sense to split it between offense and defense.

Personally, I think the KO abilities are a bit better than what the offense gets in this year's game. So I would lean towards free abilities on offense ideally spending 4 ap or less and then the rest on d.

I see your point it seems so far people would lean loading defense but could you imagine loading your offense I could see it being quite strong as well.

O My bad. 12 total. NSS. Nah bad idea. Abilities were a horrible idea for madden in the first place.
