Mystery Pack Investment for Overall Change

Been doing this since the 90-91 overall bump. But every time we are set for a pack increase, I go all in on mystery packs as an investment. this time around is the most packs I’ve put coins into… ended up with 117 packs currently

39 Star Elite

30 Pro Playmaker

30 Max Fantasy

10 Gold+ Player

8 Legends

Probably will grab another 23 packs this morning before work to end up with 140 packs  before the overall bump. Cheers to anyone else doing this and hoping the investment pays off with a good odds boost and great pull rates

I wasn’t doing this just running some mystery packs tonight. Nothing crazy like 50k training. Pulled 93 Herbert and 90 Rousseau in the same zc pack. 91 totw rankins in a pro playmaker, and 89 sean Taylor out of a legend. Doubled my money, Best run on mystery packs ive had in a while. Also pulled 90 Jake bobo and 93 Julio jones outta the zc reroll. and did the bnd angry run offer for the hell of it and pulled 92 cordarelle Patterson. Good luck tho im definitely interested to see what you pull outta all that. How many coins total did you invest?

Across the 117, I’ve put about 4 mil into it. when it’s all said and done, I’ll end up with about 4.8 mil into 140 packs.

I did one and lost out. Got a playmaker pack that did not total the amount of training the pack cost.

If you already opened it then it was before the pack odds increase, so the chances of losing are greater. Pack odds won’t increase until 1:30 today. 

but yes, still a risky investment. However, every time I’ve done it I’ve at least broke even, with the best result being doubling my investment

160 star elite packs and 106 pro playmaker packs here (rolled golds and pro max back into training, was ripping ZC each time LTDs were in (pulled CB moss, CB ramsey, and DT Armstead), ripped Legends past weekend (pulled HB Johnson).

Ive done this w/ every rollover and usually only save Legend packs, but decided to keep star elite and pro playmakers this time as well.  Ive always had decent success w/ the legend pack rollover, so thought id try the others as well.  I have 50+ legend (was saving them since last week so had a few leftover) 35+ star elite and 35+ pro playmakers.  I just ripped the max fantasy/GAG/ZC packs to get more TP to roll for the legend/SE/PP 

As someone else mentioned above, my ZC packs were insane last night.  3 or 4 93s, multiple 90s.  Maybe they juiced them before that promo is run into the ground, or maybe we just got lucky :)

I do this each time too, but not to the extent that you do. Basically QS the present junk I had leftover and did about 18 packs. 2 ZC and 1 gold+ that I went ahead and opened. Saving the last 15 for today for the bump. It's enjoyable having something to open and really the only time you don't lose instantly by opening packs.

it is certainly a lot to go through... especially selling off all the cards afterwards with only an auction house limit of 20. 

But I find it enjoyable. I've maxed out the comp pass, so kinda enjoying being a "menu" player for the time being instead of facing the online cheese at the moment.

nice! I just rolled ZC packs back into more training this time and kept everything else.

Here’s my update with 39 packs remaining (30 pro playmaker & 9 legend packs):

I pulled 91 Vincent Jackson (huge value for a 91, sold for 260k). And pulled 2 93 zero chill cards. Other than that, been mixed in with some 87’s-91’s here and there. Through the first 101 packs, I’ve made 3.4 mil back (I put 4 mil total into this). 
 

so feeling pretty confident that 30 pro playmaker & 9 legends can AT LEAST get my investment back with the chance to hit something big soon (hoping for an LTD of course)
