If I make a new account can I play online or do I have to get PlayStation plus with that account to play online?

You have to get playstation plus to play online and you have to get playstation plus on a new account

I'm on Xbox, so I only had to pay for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or whatever once TOTAL for every account since the account I purchased it on is set to my home xbox

im Pretty sure you don’t, only the Main account needs to have ps plus .

at least for xbox I can play online on my other accounts but only have live on my main account
