NMS and I am so close to my goal

I hit 3.8 million coins last night and fully starred all challenges maxed out headliners and campus heros passes and doing the minimum now completing dailies for field pass and comp pass.

Not caring about h2h or Champs but getting the stats for the non win ones unless the requirements are ridiculous then I pass on it.

But my goal is to hit 5 million before spending but debating on making it 7 million now.

Running a 2023 colts TT only and even though it's a bit challenging it has been fun but only spending maybe 1-2 hours in the game daily. Weekends I spend a little more but not more than 4 hours on those days.

Not intended as a brag just excited to be so close to my goal.

Anyone else make any goals for the game? Would love to hear about it below.

I always see how long it takes me to win a Super Bowl in H2H seasons. This year I won one in my first season. After I win my first Super Bowl I will usually play champs and try to level up as fast as I can.  I am currently an 85 overall 86 offense 85 defense with about 500k coins. When the companion app drops my coins will be unlimited but for now I’m at 500k.

Congrats on being near your goal. For me, my goal is just to build a team that I'll have fun using. I really want to build a pats theme team this year but I've been slacking when in comes to building my coin stack. Probably going to wait until pats theme team gets someone usable at qb though

every year i try to get up to atleast 1 mil coins at one point. you may be saying "oh thats easy" its not tho when ur a total pack addict like myself lol

I am taking this madden waayyyy less serious than past ones. I basically just get on to do my dailies and maybe the new content and hop off. Its been really nice.

How on earth do you get that many coins as NMS? I'm NMS, have played since August 15 (with the trial) and only a little over a million.

Flips/smart investing. 

I had 3m and spent it on plat/LTD on my team. Its way easier if youre only doing a TT and dont care except very specific updates so youre not chasing cards and waiting a week or promo for that shiny new card to come down in cost.

Your correct. I have other players I could be using in my lineup but just sticking to my low end squad to keep myself in check. Once things get a little harder then I will upgrade certain areas but I am hoping to use upgrades that are just the 2023 colts. Have to use a few colts that are not on the team anymore but I'm ok with that.

My best investment was early I was grabbing up cheap 84 overall cards waiting for those to be put in sets. I did two sets and made great profit but sold the rest off and made Hugh profit to start early in the year.  Now I am saving packs up to open one day and may hold them until TD come out to get more profit as completing every set is just not worth it. 

I flipped a lot of Seahawks, Ravens, and Steelers too. I was shocked how expensive some of those cards got.

Play leisure and just relax is really all I been doing.

Best thing to do is take what you get for free in the game. Hold any and all coins. You can have a God squad of a team but that doesn't guarantee  you will win Champs, h2h, or even hr.  Skill can play low end cards really well. Im no skilled player. Notepad and a Calculator is a great friend learning cards to flip and figuring out amounts you can get back not only from flipping cards but doing sets as well.  Thinking ahead helps a lot. Kind of have to find your own way to make coins. Advice from members here are great ways to get started but you also have to work at it and find ways of your own to get deeper in the game.

Try setting a coin goal for a week or month but keep it realistic enough so you can get it or get close to it. Then try to plan ahead.

I appreciate it, I haven't played since M18 so I didn't think about the 84 card thing. I do try to think ahead and do a lot of what you're talking about (84 ovr with almost exclusively BNDs, the rest free cards and some 80-82 OL I picked up to fill literal holes) but I made a couple of missteps too like buying drake London "low", finding out he isn't really that helpful, and panic selling when his price dropped. I'm still learning. Appreciate the input so thank you.

idk i'm nms and have 10m coins and find the game totally unengaging to just trying to determine if i'll stick with it much longer.

the mode really went downhill.  i don't understand it at all because it seems easier than ever to make coins in the AH and the rewards are total dogcrap so there is just no incentive to play or try to do the fieldpass or comp pass.

they should make it easier to make coins in the passes than in the AH if they want people to play bc the mode is all about increasing your account value and team ovr

Your welcome. Just hang in there and honestly play and have fun.  I mean I am running a really cheap colts tt https://www.mut.gg/24/lineup-builder/2fed884e-ea7d-43ff-b499-9fc301f14c4c/ and the challenges are a little harder but I am having fun and if I feel stressed out over something I stop and will come back to it later on once my head is cleared. Panic selling is what I first did and learned the hard way from losing a lot of coins. So now I am very cautious when getting players and working with what I got.

I can agree with you that the game this year does feel a lot different and the game feels it is lacking something but not sure what it is. Just how I feel about it. The passes and challenges I feel are giving us pretty good coin amounts for NMS players and useable cards that will not last long as the year goes on but can get someone who has very little time to play the game to have a team to at least compete in challenges or solo battles once those are set on higher skill levels. But it is a company and giving free verses getting paid well it's more important to gain revenue but give just enough out to keep people playing the game while having a store placed in the game so the temptation for purchasing a pack is still there. It's why the daily 500 coin pack you can buy daily is placed at the very end so we all have to see everything else when scrolling by to increase the odds in pack purchases.

My first year spending money. I’m shooting for 3.1 mil for my next spending spree and I’m at like 2.5
