Bro this was not a complaint thread. I stated it was intended to be a humorous take. I just want to buy a Bucs Color Rush jersey, bro.
As an observation to all this “screw EA” talk, lot of people don’t realize they are not legally or contractually bound to play this game they seem to hate so much. Anyone in this forum is beyond a casual player. If they hated this game as much as they claim, they’d move on and not be here ranting about it.
So either this was a mistake, or they reversed course, because Strategy cards ARE auctionable again
EDIT: or not smh. They let you click on auction on the card, but can't enter a price. Oh well.

This would literally completely end the coin selling sites. Do the same for individual players. You want the new hottest card and got money to blow. $20 and you got em. Instead of gambling that you might get them in a pack. Would still make them money and would improve customer relations Tenfold.

If EA did this I would be set I hate gambling if I could strategically spend the money I want to on my team. spending money to get someone else in the program and having to auction them to try and buy who you wanted on auction is an annoying waste of time

The rates of your return would be absolutely atrocious. I have no faith that they would set the price/coin price point to where they aligned.. $50 for 100-200k? No thanks

If that were the case where they set premium cards going for 2 mill or so in the AH for hundreds of dollars a card I would just stop paying and playing. If 100,000 went for over $10 same result
This has nothing to do with coin sellers. Like these are some magical cards they cant track or limit. Has everything to do with keeping us from making coins.

I find it funny you put a 20 dollar figure on it because thats about the same number I did in my own hypothetical when having this exact convo woth a friend. I said the reason it will never happen is that number seems about fair for both sides.
They dont want fair. That number would have to be more like 100 dollars (which they know would never fly in reality) for them to willingly make such a change to their cash cow.
