What is the purpose of having archetypes for offensive lineman if the AP is the same on all of them for each ability? Has anybody noticed a difference in play in certain situations given the archetype of the player? Just seems pointless to me otherwise.

Pretty much.
And even then, I dont use any on my line. Either they get beat or dont. Just depends on the player.

No - Postup on my guards is the only ability that seems to make a difference(and only slightly), but the archetype I've never seen a difference with.
