Old Gen MUT Theme Team Market Exchange - XBox

If you're like me and prefer the game style we have on the old gen version of MUT... then you'll know a major drawback this year is that our Auction House is a bit barren.  That makes finding golds for various Theme Teams a challenge.  I have a lot of golds in my binder and I'm willing to help out anyone looking for those backups to help get you to 20/20 for your theme teams.

Just message me here with what you are looking for and I'll let you know what positions I have gold cards on hand.  

I encourage others to join this thread (or make your own for old gen Playstation where I'm sure you face the same challenges).

Did you end up going back to the dark side (old-gen)?  Regardless, as always, you are an absolute class act, sir... out here doing good work hooking folks up.  Bravo.

I play both... 

On old gen I bought the initial Plat Bundles on Day 1 and have maintained a top end squad by winning super bowls... currently 87 OVR with every card I want.

On current gen I'm No Money Spent and will stay that way for the full year.  I have an 84 OVR (mostly BND) team.  I can't justify spending money on such bad gameplay.  I watch a few Streamers who are pretty good at the game (Dubby... KMac... Mayz... Gutfoxx...) and they all struggle on defense.  I realize that current gen is the future so I'm just getting comfortable with the different controls and navigating a brand new playbook (been in Saints on old gen for almost a decade).  

Despite the Auction House woes... I'm still having way more fun on old gen so I'll probably keep playing that until they turn the lights off!

Love it, thank you oh so very much for the detailed breakdown on your approach to the modern gaming landscape.  Despite the overall disastrous state of our beloved franchise, you have a way of proceeding with class and style.  Thank you for sharing.

What an absolute mess this entire console generation has been.  I'm not sure who the PS5 Pro is intended for, but games will continue to be held back as long as this generation of games are released for both last and current gen consoles.  Nothing about PS5 has felt liek the future of gaming.

Not sure if you are familiar with Civil GG, but he's got a pretty solid overview, although most is probably a bit too remedial for a player of your experience in this: COMPLETE Guide to Defense in Madden 25.  The real skill gap appears to be learning how to anticipate and reliably operate the Switch Stick, i'm just not quite there.  After a month+ i am starting to conceptually understand what I need to do to take things to the next level, but i'm struggling to give any fucks -- so i haven't put in the time competing to get sufficient reps.

This Swolosimo video is a touch more recent and i also found it to have some helpful suggestions on defense.

Yeah... I'm not gonna bother trying to master the switch stick until I see that EA keeps it in the game long term.  They have a habit of changing certain mechanics every year or two.
