If your offense consist of 70+ yard bombs that you got off YouTube you are a square. Just my opinion. I know how to counter them but you don’t expect in on the first play

Meh I don't care for it cuz I know how to stop them but they get annoying when they come out in a zone bomb first play.

Exactly I just had that happen to me and I personally can’t keep up with an offense that goes from trying a bomb play to nickel and diming and once you adjust to the nickel and diming they hit you with the bomb. guess I just gotta defend the bomb and let them go down field on me till it’s not a threat

Help a guy out. What adustments do you make to stop these one play TDs? I've had trouble with this garbage for months. Shade over the top, guess pass, play outside coverage? Tried all that I still get burnt with 99 everything 6'4"+ DBs on the regular. The only time I've ever stopped this is by usering the route and then the middle and underneath are wide open. Any advice (other than git gud, etc.) is appreicated.

Depends on what the bomb since the bomb is just glitching the safeties if it's a cover 4 bomb change my safeties to deep halves or one on an inside third cover 3 change to inside quarters these are the only ones I run into since I only run cover 3 or 4.

Well If I KNOW theyre someone who only passes/only goes for deep bombs i switch to cover 4 with base align and shade overtop and make sure all the deep zones have deep zone KO and I sub in my pass rushing d line (I usually have a dline that’s more to stop the run) and I guess pass usually they’ll get sacked before they can get the play off or it’ll just get knocked out by the deep zones

Bro, I just have this one Play Action play where Tony G runs diagonally 60 yards and if he's not open, Randy Moss does the same thing but 40 yards. Free one-play touchdown

It can be decent I've seen it bomb cover 4 since the post get over the inside quarter on the right side of the field but not consistently.

It seems to me that cover 6 is the easiest to bomb. Ove been bombed so many times while in C6. Ive started putting the one safety in a deep half to try and avoid it or not call C6 as much. A crossing route will make a safety bite on it thus leaving a streak wide open. I do know that in the SB Ace Dbl Wing formation the play PA TE Cross is an easy one play TD against Cover 4,Cover 6 and I think maybe a few other coverages as well. These safeties are so stupid and the AI is far from intelligent but thats how it is for everyone.

slot blitzes are good. also be willing to give up anything underneath. most 1 trick phonies are terrible in the red zone. bend but don't break and they will quit
im by no means a great defender, but im willing to wait as long as it takes to know the 2 plays a certain person has and then win it in the 4th
