one of the main things I agree with abt the strike is that we should get more rewards for playing the game itself. you either have to be rlly good at making coins, or spend lots of money to even be competetive. I think its sickening, if I play 40 challenges, I should be able to get something better than a mid 87 thats bnd and basically worthless.
EA has gotta stop this mess sooner or later, and im rlly glad the mut community is doing something abt it.
btw yall------ be warned, EA will drop some insanely tempting packs in the next promo or the next couple weeks bc of this strike, but dont buy them until the whole thing has been resolved.
I agree with just about every word spoken in this thread. I already am NMS but I probably won’t even buy packs with coins, minus the 500 one each day. It’s insane how a multi-billion dollar company are so outrageously terrible at what they do and how they make such a terrible game. And it’s not like the community has been saying it for years, and probably will keep doing so cause EA never wants to fix anything.
I was very excited for M23, especially my first full season of grinding MUT, trying to build a God Squad, etc. But very quickly that excitement was squashed by the worst MUT (server, release, reward problem wise) I’ve ever seen, I‘ve been playing the game for a while.
Unfortunately for us players, EA probably won’t make anything better in the foreseeable future. Hey, at least CFB24 comes out next year.

Do you go to Vegas and complain that the slot machines aren't paying out more? That is essentially what they are campaigning for.
Don’t you get benefits from EA, like free cards, points?
I buy packs and I am 100% in. I hope people realize that that if we all get on board it benefits everybody. It might even attract new players and make the community bigger and better if the game didn't revolve around greed and spending money.
NMS stands to benefit from better rewards and not to mention an overall better experience doing solos & the people who buy packs can actually get something out of the bundles and store offers.
There is a difference between buying packs and being robbed and EA is robbing people who spend money on their game.. the odds are just so incredibly bad. I saw today there is a 60k coin pack in the store that has a laughable 4.9% chance at a card that goes for 25k lol.... It is also very likely you can spend $100 on a program bundle and not do any better than a 86-87 overall player. They are just praying on all of our addictions to football and video games and counting on us to overlook all the nonsense.
Turns2ashes said:I’ll most likely just play more FIFA than Madden. the ultimate team game mode is better and you get loads more packs and coins just playing games, feels a lot fairer. Sure there are some unattainable players for NMS unless you get lucky but there are a lot more players to choose from.
a good example is the icon(legends) swaps promo. They do it a few times a year, you literally earn tokens playing some solo battle games. Then you put them in to a random icon set. I pulled Brazilian Ronaldo last year, an 8m coin card I would never have been able to afford. I also got Maldini in another, a 3m card. So it’s way fairer.
and get this, you can put all your NAT players into sets. If you just save them up you can get some great players.
Is it really better
No way to earn any players EXCEPT Online is such bull5hark.

Yeah it really is. Comes out next week and I’ll likely play more of that, even though I prefer football to soccer.

This isn't Vegas, this is a video game. A video game in which the majority of consumers think it's going the wrong way.... Apes together strong
I will fully back a pack strike. I started playing in 20 and the game was amazing. Few glitches, ap wasn’t a thing and you had three player each side of the ball. Linebackers were as good as dbs and it wasn’t as ”50-50” on jump balls and such. Played 21 and it wasn’t great but the packs were decent. To tell you how much I spent it would be around 800 dollars. Then here comes 22… was fun at first but then Christmas came and EA fucked up so everyone and their mother had either 96 simmons, Humphry, or Henry and when combined with TTs and strat cards you had an end game team. I also spent 200 dollars on bundles and got one elite (non-guarenteed) EA just went on a hiatus and ignored everyone till playoffs. Here comes 23 which unless you have next gen is a copy and paste game with horrible pack luck, so many glitches. I apologize for the essay
Yes packs are the worst I ever seen. Really feels like there trying to take advantage of there fan base this year which does consist of kids and teenagers .
somebody pointed out something about a casino yet casinos you have to be 21 Not the case with madden.

dont be that guy, its litterally a cause trying to help the game
I think a pack strike is stupid. Just dont spend any money. Content creators promote buying coins but mad at EA. I think legend players should be expensive just like fifa.

And what exactly do you think that people are spending money on?
I haven't bought a pack in over four years simply because there are better things I'd rather spend my money on, and the only way I'd ever consider giving EA any additional cash in any given Madden year is if they stopped pushing out substandard MUT product.
But I support the movement whilst continuing to stay in my lane.
