Last year for the superbowl MVP card, we got a set where you exchanged 3 97 superbowl players for 99 Mahomes, and you got them back BND. Is EA gonna be this nice to us this year? Does any one know the se details?
Just a guess, but i'm gonna say 5 95s.

If they stick to current math, it would be 5x96s
They killed BND sets. I don’t see them bringing those back.

right but we only have 96 ltds and typically you can't put ltds into sets, nor would it be worth it to put 5 cards worth a 700k to a million coins each into a set.

I hear you but this is EA after all :)

Thoughts on whether these will be super bowl 95+ cards to trade or any? I don't recall last year whether that exchange was limited

It could be any, but again the first 95s were playoff Ltds. So the only 95 set cards we have are from the last 2 weeks of SB content. Idk anyone trying to put their 2 million coin Zay flowers, Nick bosa etc into a set. That’d be such a waste.

Are any sets "worth it"?
Every high end set I have ever made takes more than the player is actually worth.
(5) 92 OVR to get a 94 OVR Super Bowl player is a lot when most people only have a 93 or 94 OVR team.

I was building 95 SB player Sets for 400k last night (buying 92’s at 80k each), while the cards were selling on the AH for 440k-470k. Saved some coins doing that

Definitely not getting anything back bnd hasnt hsppened once this year
Just from a TP perspective, it should be about 7 x 95s for a 99. Otherwise it would be a loophole to put in 5 x 95s and get more training back than put into the set. EA knows this well, so expect more than 5 SB cards in. Maybe a mix of 95s and 92s?

Yeah I was gonna say thinking about it in the training perspective that wouldn’t make sense. You always put in more than you get back. 130k training for the 95 which is 100k training back. So I could definitely see it being a mix of cards but who knows

Remember there were the 2 legend releases of 95s so it wouldn’t just be an 95s but it would be a very small market on the regular 95s

I understand what you are saying........I meant that the cost of upgrading in general is steep. (5) 92 players for (1) 94 seems like a lot to me. 2 or 3 players to go up 2 OVR seems more reasonable, but no high-end sets are that "cheap".
