Personal Mock Draft picks

Made a few mock draft picks for casuals. I'm a huge Jets fan, and I usually like to spend time watching film on players I like. Just an outside hobby of mine. Anyway, I compiled a bunch of mock drafts and the ones I made myself to make what I would love to think is a very good prediction of the NFL Draft. These picks might change, due to trades (deebo samuel), team reports, player issues, etc. If you want me to, I'll break down why I chose these picks. But I doubt anyone cares. Positions are in bold.
 

1) Jacksonville Jaguars- EDGE Travon Walker

2) Detroit Lions- EDGE Aidan Hutchinson

3) Houston Texans- OL Ikem Ekwonu

4) New York Jets- EDGE Kayvon Thibodeaux

5) New York Giants- OL Evan Neal

6) Carolina Panthers- OL Charles Cross
This pick could also be a QB, but I don't think the Panthers organization is that dysfunctional.

7) New York Giants- DB Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner

8) Atlanta Falcons- EDGE Jermaine Johnson II
This pick could also be used on a receiver, but I think the Falcons are just gonna tank this year for a new QB and get Ridley back next year.

9) Seattle Seahawks- DB Derek Stingley Jr
If Charles Cross was still here, he would probably be the pick (if you predicted QB at 6)

10) New York Jets- WR Jameson Williams
Could be traded for Deebo Samuel. I think if that trade goes through, it will still probably be a receiver. Will update when news.

11) Washington Commanders- DB Kyle Hamilton

12) Minnesota Vikings- DB Trent McDuffie

13) Houston Texans- EDGE George Karlaftis
Could also be a receiver, but I think they go with the best player available here. That's Karlaftis in my eyes

14) Baltimore Ravens- OL Trevor Penning
This one stumped me for a while. I didn't know who to put here. EDGE and CB went early, which are the Ravens' biggest needs. And I didn't see them reaching really hard over a good player in Penning. I expect to be wrong here. Could go any way given the scenario. But most likely an offensive lineman.

15) Philadelphia Eagles- WR Garrett Wilson

16) New Orleans Saints- WR Chris Olave

17) Los Angeles Chargers- DT Jordan Davis

18) Philadelphia Eagles- LB Devin Lloyd

19) New Orleans Saints- OL Bernhard Raimann
Another tough choice. Went with the OL as the Saints need a new LT after losing Armstead in free agency.

20) Pittsburgh Steelers- QB Malik Willis

I’m impressed, easily the most comprehensive mock on this site. I’m having a real hard time with this years draft, Hamilton, Garrett Wilson, and Kenny Pickett are all over the place in many of the ”top analysts” mocks. The DE/OL decisions are extremely tough. Each of the top 5 could use both positions and this seems to be all about front office feeling on personality fit.

All that said, I might just straight copy you. Though I won’t blame you if it goes wrong.

Secondly, this year is such a huge unknown for QBs. I have no clue what's going to happen. The smoke is mainly around NO and CAR, but 6 is way too early for a QB this draft and NO seems to be trying to win now rather than later. One QB at 6 could throw everything off though.

If you want to copy me, go ahead. But you shouldn't submit it until the last hour. Trades and such can happen pre-draft and mess with things. No way to predict draft day trades so hopefully there are one of those.

Dont plan on touching the sets until Thursday, just hoping I don’t get busy with something and forget to finish it.

Pickett and Willis are the top two QB choices, it’s difficult to place them. Plenty of teams think they need QB, but this is one of the weaker draft classes in recent years at many positions. No doubt this is from Covid fallout, crazy to see it materialize two years later.

In my total mock, I have the jets taking Travon Walker, Kyle Hamilton, Jalen Pitre, Quay Walker and Cole Strange. Would call that a dub for you.

Walker is EDGE not LB though....

I like these picks. It’s hard to predict things like these because each pick can influence another not to mention trades. might copy these down on Thursday because I’m not submitting anything until the day of the draft because If a trade happens I’d be finished😅 the giants picking Sauce is interesting because they’re looking to get rid of Bradberry so I like that pick but I’ve seen the Texans picking him at 3 as well. We’ll see what happens. It’s the age old question of team needs VS most talented player available. Panthers waiting until next year for a stronger QB class is also something that may or may not happen but it’s just one of the mysteries of this draft. They definitely need one though and they might just take a shot on one of them

A little confused on some of these. Why would the Giants and Commanders take a QB? Lloyd at 11? Chargers have good LBs too

Not a bad mock but I would recommend changing your QB picks because those seem a little silly. Also Karlaftis is an EDGE not a linebacker

I put actual research into mine. But this year doesn't have any clear-cut top prospects. Definetly a little confusing for mock drafts. I think I made the best one possible
