I have Slay and Woolen on the outside. Woolen is fine, Slay is amazing.

Also, I forgot to mention in my last post that Moss is usually manned up. Specifically on a Seam. He does better at that job (and blitzing when I need it) than anyone else so far with his speed, height, and various other stats. Can't imagine putting him back outside.

Holy hell, thank you for that pro-tip.  I don't know why it hadn't occurred to me to drop him in as Slot1 corner so i can man him up on the TE (or Slot) receiver, perhaps even get a chance to finally use that Bottleneck X-factor.  Although that Deep Zone KO is really nice.  What abilities you have on Randy?  Happen to have a roster anywhere, i'd love to take a glance at what you are running.

I just have LA on Randy. But Woolen and slay have DOKO. I'm too lazy to do a roster lol but it's pretty standard. I do weird shit like run new Calvin in the Slot but also Outside so he's in on 2 WR plays, but mostly plays Slot. Then running Peppers at FS and Moss SL1.

Yo, thanks a million for helping me figure out what's up with the secondary. It was just a dumb accident having moved Julius Peppers over to Slot2, but was for all the wrong reasons. I forgot how much I enjoyed having that height with Calvin in the Slot.

Invested a little time reworking my defense. I'm totally copying you, moving Tariq outside (with Slay Jr.) and Randy to Slot1. 4AP felt a bit steep for Woolen, but think I can comfortably make it work with all discounted abilities lately. Gonna put DIZKO back on my Safeties and play mostly Cover 4 Quarters, but with 9 in the box via Double Safety Blitz, to help with quick passes to the seam as well as helping to fill run fits.

Gonna test it out finally after Bucs put away the Eagles. Sounds good in my head and versatile. Dollar required way too many subs from my blitzing MLB, I don't have Gronk.

Yes they snuck in a fatigue implemented patch but completely butchered it and it doesn't work as intended. Now half the defense will be subbed out consistently unless you  ap on recuperation.

10-4 guess I gotta waste another AP on troy then cause he's almost never out there most of my other players are normal tho think I've seen TJ get subed out too, guess we need to start having our backups be just as good as our starters so stupid..

I hope they fix it. Will Anderson was my best defensive player and I'm sad he's trash now

Anyone tried "Recuperation"? I put it on Bosa and he seems ok now.

My workaround has been as follows:

• RE David Bakhtiari
• DT1 Aaron Donald Terminator
• DT2 Dexter Lawrence Harvest
• LE Jalen Carter (although if he ever gets subbed out during the game, for whatever reason i'm not able to put him back at LE from in-game substitution menus, not sure why.  I realize his natural position is DT, but nothing really makes sense with this game.  EA logic, i guess)
• and THE most important DB (who can play basically anywhere) would be Julius Peppers.  He can blitz from the Slot, or become a USER, or really whatever you want.  I have him at Slot2, which offers flexibility in both run and pass game, YMMV.

Using 380 pounds (LT Trent Brown) & 374 pounds (RT Dawand Jones), then subtract 90 -- whatever players you have that meet the minimum weight threshold will probably be fine, there's other/better players than what i have available, just sharing what has sort of worked for me.

EDIT:  I honestly think the better approach would be to detail players who do not fatigue quickly.  Because it's almost everyone under 290 pounds (on the left) and 284 pounds on the right end who seem to suffer from extreme fatigue.  YMMV, this is EA game logic, after all.  Oof.

Thank you for feedback.  Really invested some time trying to get this new defense / scheme dialed in last evening.  I'm somewhat able to generate quick-shed style pressure up the interior, mostly from Dime formations.  Pinch D-line, crash down/inside, enabling 8 to drop back in max coverage, while my three pass rushers fight to shed versus the opponent's LT, LG & C by turning auto-flip OFF and always flipping my Dime Normal Zone coverages.  I'm running the following D-line setup, after having built Wild Bill, who i typically allow to be CPU controlled, he's just too good to personally USER, imo:

• RRE: David Bakhtiari
• RDT1: Aaron Donald "Terminator"
• RDT2: Jalen Carter
• RLE -- my USER, a rotation of; Carmichael, Fred Warner and Josh Allen, depending upon fatigue issues, or Za'Darius Smith as my pure pass rusher, for when CPU controls him.

YMMV, just sharing what has worked well for me.

ik he's outdated, but 87 Sapp doesn't fatigue. 93 Buckner doesn't fatigue that much. Also that free 92 Brandon Graham will fatigue.

I just turned the game off. I had enough of this nonsense.

Yes Ed too tall always gets tired after a few plays.. I have to use him on important downs later in the game smh
