Played a guy earlier who was putting everyone but 2 players into coverage. I would think running the ball or running hb draw plays would be the way to go against that? Most of the time they do it in passing situations cause they know your going to pass the ball so they just throw everyone into coverage 😆. Just didnt know if there were any ways to best counter stuff like this? Or is it just best to stick with the run and hope you get good gains on the ground to break them from doing that stuff?
I do this a good bit and the ways people can take advantage is QB scrambles or inside Zone type runs. What I do when I drop 9 is an inverted cover 3 from cover 2 shell out of over G with my 2 ends in hard flats. Usually the ends dropping don’t have great zone or animate much so double drags still work well and RB table or flat routes can beat them to the edge. Do you run Elway at QB? I think we may have played each other.
Just stand in the pocket and playmaker your WR’s until one of them is open. If they are rushing two you will have all day in the pocket.
