Does anyone know why the position archetypes change for some player?
For example, why was Ronnie Lott FS-Hybrid for his All-Madden item, but his new Super Bowl Past item is now FS-Run Support?

archetype determines the abilities a player is eligible for and Is based on certain stat thresholds.
so maybe they did it to make him eligible for a certain ability(s) in his custom bucket

I wish they didn’t change them up but at least they didn’t change positions like they did with Darnell Savage.

This would be nice to know. It’s sucks that they switch them around. If I’m not mistaken, I think Berry played FS irl. Why put him at Ss is what I’ll never get.

maybe? in years past, no. but this year people said they could use qb henry and hb henry? so maybe? but that's also a unique situation with qb henry being an oop card
