Post AP Decrease H2H Review Day 2

A few more observations I've made of H2H gameplay after the AP decrease.

1. Agg catches aren't as powerful as I originally predicted them to be. Players won't moss DBs every play like they did at the beginning of the year. Nevertheless, they are more powerful than before as demonstrated to me by Calvin Johnson bodying Minkah Fitzpatrick to catch a 54 yard bomb in my Super Bowl. Honestly, I believe this is more realistic. A 6'5 230+ lb wide receiver should easily win that matchup in single coverage. 

2. Zone Coverage is the move. I've switched from my Over Storm Brave blitz scheme to a zone scheme which relies heavily on the Cover 3 Sky and Tampa 2 plays, both of which give my user an advantageous position in the middle of the field. If you haven't tried this already, please do. It go me 5 picks in my Super Bowl (although tbh my opponent didn't seem that good). Even if you don't get a lot of INTs, this style of defense will definitely help against the new easy offense meta.

yeah I've played a few games and for sure a lot has changed honestly kinda shocked defense has become so much easier than what it was before.

how many yards do you set your flat zones and your hook zones when playing Tampa 2?

Not sure. I've literally just been running the base formation. I don't usually run zone so I'm not good with the adjustments

I would set flats to 10 and hooks too 5 that's what I start out with but adjust depending on what the guy I am playing does.

I've been running c2 all year since launch. 

Also, all I've seen so far in h2h since the AP squeeze are the SAME EXACT players with he same exact abilities. There wasn't much diversity in most folks teams to begin with, but now just as I suspected it's the same cast on every team. Boring and repetitive but even worse now

Saw it mentioned so I'll add, I've had the best 48 hours of Madden in my life.. had an undefeated Superbowl season, currentky 14-3 in champs. I also went from level 4-10 in the house rules on a 22 win streak. It's like the 6ap plays to my schemes stengths. 🤷

My defense has been insane. Calvin johnson absolutely destroyed me in a handful of games tho, and this tight end route I've never seen before.
