Qb upgrade recommendations

Goff throws dimes and is Hella cheap . But if you aren’t a pocket passer then he isn’t your guy . He is slow as a muskrat .

the Captain did well for me  I think he is like 400k right now . I see everyone going with Johnny football lately but I don’t like spending that much on one player . Wait tell Wednesday see if a Qb comes out on team of the week

I’m loving Anthony Richardson rn he might be the best qb at throwing on the run to me. Can do it all for under 800k

~500k for The Captain (Andrew Luck LTD), he's quite possibly THE best option on a budget -- can get Gunslinger, Gift-Wrapped and Backyard QB (that starts ON, but cycles all game) or if you prefer Identifier, that's available as well, for 0AP.

There's a new, QB coming later this week, i believe as part of Blitz: Denard Robinson (can be upgraded to a 90 OVR).  I assume he's a freebie if you don't mind grinding.  YMMV, good luck, let us know what you decide to go with?

Personally, i'm totally biased, so i'm using Joe Montana at the moment on 49ers theme team, but he's SLOW.  Fantastic release, otherwise... but if yer not a pure pocket passer, his lack of speed will be an issue.

Dang that’s good to know, I’m leaning either Manziel or the captain. I don’t really scramble around mainly stay in the pocket. At first I was wanted to go with Joe but now everyone brings up good points and options for other QB’s. i Want to get someone good abilities and wont get outdated soon.

ALL QBs will get outdated quickly, it's the nature of the beast.  I'm loving my time with Joe Montana, prebuilt him last week and haven't looked back.  EVERYONE (all QBs with Gunslinger) are dealing with those random overthrows, it's just part of this buggy, inconsistent mess that is Madden 25.  That being said, it's (GS) still easily the best ability in the entire game and a must-have to get the ball out quickly against the massive pressure everyone is sending.  IMO, nothing matters more than getting the ball out quick.  I've tried velocity abilities (SFL) and no content, Gunslinger is vastly superior.

So really, any QB that gets Gunslinger is probably fine.  That Penix Jr. (S2) card is still a really decent option, he's fast gets the basic ability we'd want.  Regardless of which QB you end up choosing, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you are running Gift-Wrapped.  People will tell you that "it's not necessary" in various forms (especially as the year progresses, they'll say things liek it's April, you don't need GW).  These people are all wrong.  Dead wrong, couldn't be more wrong.  The game is going to constantly cheat you, we've all seen those diving grabs or balls to wide open players that seem to just bounce off your hands and to the ground.  It happens ALL the darn time, having Gift-Wrapped on your QB will ensure that you're not getting "cheated" (for lack of a better term) by the game.  Very few (except Gunslinger) abilities on offense are going to be more impactful to your overall gameplay.

One last time, please run Gift-Wrapped.  Yes, it's a necessity.  Anyone telling you otherwise doesn't understand the game.

EDIT:  I'm seeing a TON of Anthony Richardson out there, he's got a fantastic release from what i hear.  Save yer coins and prepare to buy this coming weekend when prices tank.

I'm in the same boat but running a Giants TT.  If that Manning card had an Only Fans, I'd subscribe.

I'm hoping to pick up Joe Montana on Friday for 200k, but if 95 VY hits 2m I'm dumping it on him.

I ran with Joe to finish out Ranked and preferred him over AKA Luck and Lamar, but I haven't tried AKA Johnny F. I'm not sure if TAC does anything, but Joey M at 99 makes me feel super comfy, I don't recall any throws missed in the ~5 games I played with him. Release felt buttery.

Good stuff man, appreciate it. I’ve been using QuickDraw and gift wrap and it’s been working pretty good when the pressure gets there and remains accurate. I’ll put Gunslinger and gift wrap. I’ve noticed a huge difference with gift wrap
