Ring of honor HYPE THREAD

Last year...the Ring of honor cards were the best in the game

As we have already reached 99 overall...now cards will be based on abiltiies/X Factors

I expect the Ring of Honor to be (5) players - same as last year and the cards to have 2-3 0AP Abilities and start on XFactor

They could get up to 3-4 million coins, depending on how rare and overpowering they are

As for the positions...last year we got RB, WR, TE, DB and Edge Rusher

This year...I think its QB, RB, WR, MLB, DB

For QB...I think it has to be Steve Young or John Elway...They are in the game every year...and I think theres a reason we havent gotten one of their cards yet

For RB, Walter Peyton...as he hasnt gotten an AKA LTD or a UL yet...it would be the perfect time for him to get an upgrade with 0AP Angry runs

For TE, either Antonio Gates or Mike Ditka...neither has gotten a card this year.

They just gave Gronk an upgrade, Shannon Sharple has a UL and Tony G got it last year

For MLB, Ray Lewis...they gave him a 96 card but that was part of a season quest...He hasnt gotten a program upgrade since Cover Athletes

For DB, Darrele Revis...he hasnt gotten an upgrade in a while and wont be getting an AKA card as the last CB just went to Denzel War

Other option would be Richard Sherman or Kam Chancellor, but I've leaning towards Revis

Charles Woodson got a UL, so hes out

I agree that the ROH was the best program last year. Well, it was my favorite. The 98 cards were good as well, so I list some names I see at least getting a 98 as well. 

Someone mentioned EA put something such as "**new inductees" **  that had an impact in previous in the Madden world when revealing the program. So this leads me to believe there will be players that haven't been in the ROH yet.

Maybe I am and others are wrong, but I see at least somen of these players being a part of the program:

Names I feel strongly will be in ROH as a 99 or 98 will be in bold.

Calvin Johnson - Barry Sanders - Ndamukong Suh - Night Train - Robert Porcher - Reggie Bush

Chicago - Brian Urlacher - Mike Ditka (possible as a Bear with Urlacher....)

Baltimore - Marshal Yanda - John Ogden

Tampa- **Mike Alstott -**Keyshawn Johnson- Derrick Brooks

Eagles- Mike Vick -Brian Dawkins- LeSean "Shady" McCoy - DeSean Jackson

Seattle- Richard Sherman- Kam Chancellor- Shaun Alexander? 

Chargers -LaDainian Tomlinson - Antonio Gates - Junior Seau - Rodney Harrison

Saints - Drew Brees - Jimmy Graham- Willie Road- Jahri Evans - Reggie Bush - Lecharles Bentley - Leroy Glover

Ill edit and add to the names as I remember more players that could get into the ROH as a first-timer. 

Also, if you find cheap 94s on the AH, they may be worth investing in. The sets last year called for any 94 to make a ROH 96. 96 ROH made 98 ROH. And 98 ROH made the 99ovr sets. Any 90-91ovr was also a part of making 94s in this set.

One reason this was such a great program was because if you do a 99 set, you got two 98s with it. The skill players had the necessary speed to be end-game and the abilities were good.  The OL and DL got solid abilities as well.  It was the best program last year and completing the set gave you 3 end-game cards. They had really good card art as well. Hopefully EA keeps with the same style they did last year with the sets and getting two 98s back...giving 3 end-game cards. You could have sold the 99ovr and it basically gave you two 98s for cheap. They haven't done that this year. They used to do it with Combine and TOTY. Didnt this year. Hopefully they do it for ROH.

Maybe I am wrong but it seems they brought this program out later then they did last year. I remember ROH players being available in the Easter Egg program last year.

I could see them throw Vick out there as the ROH QB and I hope they don’t Madden star real life playing if he had never gone to prison who knows but at this point I think Lamar Jackson has had more of an effect on the league and maybe Cam Newton in his career.

Lawrence Taylor was a ROH inductee last year, so he will not be one this year.  Knowing EA, he could be one of the 98's , because they lack any originality and love to reuse the same players over and over.  His last card this year was the 93 OVR Ghost.

I feel someone will make a Vick or Newton GT. That's the only thing that gives me pause of them giving either of them ROH.

But Vick would be an easy 99 and made a big impact on Madden. As did Shady McCoy. Those two in a supporting cast and  Brian Dawkins? 

Also possible DeSean Jackson as an Eagle as well???

They also have to think about teams that need players for Theme Teams and the 99s need a "supporting cast".  So, as you said, some players that got cards last year might get a 98 because of that. Not sure who the Giants 99 would be though...

I think Strahan just got a UL, didn't he?

This is EA. After this year yall trippin if you think they WONT readd same players.  Hell i wouldnt be surprised if they rerelease moss/deion 99s in roh with the way they redid CMC/Kyler murray/other players so quick. I know its very unlikely they will do this but expect anything from these bums. Either will be fire or a hot mess.

I feel the Eagles will be very well represented and youre going to be a happy person. 😆 

I feel my Lions will get a 99 Calvin. Likely a 98 Barry this year a supporting cast. And as a third player for the Lions...maybe Ndamukong Suh or Robert Porcher....Night Train?

Brady makes absolute sense. Best QB ever to play the game in the ROH? Makes nothing but sense. Tons of 98 Patriots to put with him. Rodney Harrison for example? Ty Law?
