I was wondering if anyone else noticed that route tech on my wr only works sometimes? I played 2 solos to test it and I ran the same play to the same wr the whole game. My wr only had route tech and sometimes it would activate and sometimes it wouldn't, even thought I ran the same play for 2 straight games.
Any suggestions on wr builds? Ty
That's just normal with this game and route abilities and good receiver builds is route tech and short out and if not route tech then short in

It’s actually not about your play call. Route Tech only activates against Man Coverage in 23. If your opponent was changing from Man to Zone that would explain why it would activate and then not activate.
In MUT22 Route Tech worked WAY better and it activated against Man and Zone.

Ok ty. So is it man only and press? Because they have run man on me but I noticed it still doesnt kick in if they are giving cushion

Ok ty. So you like route tech on all wrs? And is short out better for outside wr and shirt in better for slot?
Route Tech will only benefit you if your opponent is playing man coverage, which is why I play zone 99% of the time.
