Who are you using? Still on 83 Swift and need an upgrade. 
 

run/pass balanced. Considering Bo/Payton/CMC. but not sure I wanna spend that much for their price to plummet in just a few days or weeks. Advice?

Just get Bo. You won't regret it. His 90 juke gives him the best juke animation. Juke Box makes it even better, but you don't even need the ability. I have RB Apprentice on him and he's on a Texas route just about every passing play that he's not blocked.

Does his low catching ever hurt him? That’s my main concern with him. 
 

Opposite on CMC. my concern with him is his size/weight (Plus the cost)

CMC is not only a very good card...it is fun. You can line him up at WR in the backfield...wherever, card is a Swiss Army Knife (does everything good).

CMC has changed my whole game lol before that I had rhamondre he was great for me for a long time too. I currently have bettis paired with CMC and while I havent used him much and hes been good im probably gonna sell him to try to upgrade somewhere else just because hes not on the field enough to justify the price. Those are basically the only backs ive used and CMC has been by far the most game changing.

Recently picked up Bo and he's been good for me

new to the market… cheaper to buy on Saturday during legends?

Get Bo, I’ve had CMC and Walter Payton  Bo is the only one who breaks tackles of Sean Taylor, Simmons and Chancelor I got tired of Bo because I’ve had him for so long but went back to him because he runs people over and pushes forward for extra yards .

 CMC goes down like a little baby he’s good for passing and wide open runs though.
