Safeties in Man Coverage

If a corner and a safety have the same stats - will they play the same in man coverage? Or are corners coded to play better?

I find CBs trend to cover in man better but in zone there's not really a difference

I don't think they are coded to play better. I think it comes down to other stats, I look at AGI , COD & ACC when I'm picking man coverage guys, they're required to run routes like a WR

To start the year I was using safties at corner and they seemed alot better than my corners. Although the press wasn't there. I run man and zone. Got Sherm and Diggs now. They drop so many picks its insane but at least they try to animate. Seems like my safties don't do much but look at the wr catching the ball, even when I click on and try to user. Idk games weird.
