How do you block this?
" RUN THE DANG BALL "
BLINDSIDE VOICE
Would be amazing if this game didn't cater to man coverage pressing all the time fucking garbage where i get sacked in less than a second. Fucking horrible
i block the RB, slide protect away from RB, then ID blitzing outside LB on the RB side
I gave up 29 points in the 1st quarter. Ended up staying in the game and lost 55-50. I think i know how to move the ball on that defense now so i'm not that angry. And thanks bbrewer23goblue also.

no prob
Man press is the easiest to beat lol. Anything crossing play, drag, etc will beat it. Just have to have your rb block
I use the run game and quick passes...if they stay in this defense I will also run no huddle and try and not give them time to adjust. I have no problems...I just stay patient (short passes and a solid run game will wear it down).

Not when you get sacked in less than a second. I did block my RB, they ran right past him most of the time.

That's what i ended up doing. This was the first time i went up against that defense this year so it was a bit new to me but as the game went on, i figured it out. My defense sucked tho

Am I mistakenly confusing the term woth something I know as something different or? By "id" him what do you mean, alerting your tesm hes gonna blitz and that makes them pay more attention to him? If so how do you do that? All this time Ive never known this.

This is a feature in the game in the form of the "id the mike" mechanic. Before, you snap the ball press L1/LB to bring up oline adjustments. There will be an indicator in the form of an "M" over the defender currently identified as the mike. You can change the defender identified as the mike by pressing X/A while you have the oline adjustments active. After you press X/A, you can move the indicator with the left stick to the defender you want to id as the mike. Once, that's done press X/A again to confirm.
The your pass protection is supposed to block the player you id as the mike

Oh ok. Thanks for the breakdown (figured it was that but wasnt sure how to do it) also thanks for specifying it will then block the guy you identify as thats not what that does in real life and I may have took awhile to figure it out on my own. Lol are there any drawbacks/do they block even worse than if you did nothing if you incorrectly predict whos blitzing?

I mean any good blitz in this game is probably going to result in a sack or pressure on the QB if you don't adjust. So I would say there's not much penalty for predicting the blitzer incorrectly compared to doing nothing. Worst case, if you're wrong about who's blitzing, a defender comes in unblocked. But again that was probably going to happen anyway if you didn't adjust properly.
