Should I replace Steve Young with RGIII?

i know this sounds crazy, but i have a 49ers theme team with steve young; (btw i have room for 1 non-49ers player to still have 50 chem)  i love his throws due to his left handedness - he can drop dimes on te route from 4 or 5 verticals; the thing is i thought he would be good at scrambling/running - however his lefthandedness makes it so unnatural to roll and scramble, not to mention running straight to the left he cant be the defensive end for shit

also what abilities would you put on young if you owned him?

The 9ers TT really makes this a harder decision.  Obviously we have only seen some stats for RG3 however a couple years ago his GT was one of the best.  I also think he had Slinger 1 for his release. So if that is the case I think you go RG3.  Im assuming these guys will get a discounted ability or two but I didn't see what RG3 is getting so I can't speak to that.

I’m sorry, but if anyone really thinks RG3 will get slinger 1 then they haven’t been paying attention.  Don’t let hope outweigh common sense.

Why wouldnt they give him slinger 1?  DId I miss something they said on stream.  I obviously dont have common sense.  Maybe you think they are worried about devaluing Elway but Elway will also always have the best discounted abilites.  Elway also does not make them any money at this point, so they could care less about his value.  So to make RG3 better than AM Young or even the TOTW guys CUlter and Fields they have to juice his release.   ALso if he is not much better than the 92 free Josh Allen we got no one will buy packs to upgrade him.  He will get SFL for 2 AP but the rest of his abilities will be trash because he is improviser archetype.  But dont worry, RG3 will be short lived, as EA will drop another good QB the day after Thanksgiving for Blitz.

What abilities should be on RG3 if i buy him

Anything that helps with release, and fearless if he gets it

I am gonna get him and give him a whirl. I don’t mind selling him back and eating the loss if I don’t like him.   

and in case anyone is wondering, young is slightly better than cutler IMO.  Cutler has better hair but even so, I prefer young.

Depends on release. He seems to have decent abilities and can run (hopefully we see more running QB actually be able to run now)

WOOF he has Gen 2 which is bottom half release... If you can live with it I guess its fine but...

All I said was he won’t get slinger 1 and to anyone paying attention since the game released, it is obvious why.  Nobody said you don’t have common sense.  Everyone does.  It’s the individual’s  choice whether to use it or not.  Did you NOT see how long it took for the second slinger 1 release in the game?  Did you NOT see what happened with the price?  EA knows what they are doing.  They pretend like they are incompetent but strangely their incompetence has led to millions of extra dollars likely made.  Slinger 1 is nothing more than a marketing tool.  To keep it the most exclusive and lucrative tool in their bag, they won’t be giving slinger 1 to just anyone and it will likely only be 2-3 QBs this entire year.
