Should KO's be banned, nerfed, kept the same, given an even bigger advantage, etc.?
What Should Madden Do With KO's?
I think if we have X-Factors & Added Abilities, we should have KO's....But they should cut them back some. Only make them effective on good hits. Actually have a few good KO's cause a fumble because half of the time it seems like the catch was made and the KO happened too late. They should eliminate the weak hits or catch-up from behind plays that cause a KO because these are very unrealistic. Some of the defensive backs and corners are weaker and do not hit hard and do not cause KO's in real life so they shouldn't be doing so in the game. Not every player hits like Lott or Lynch or Tatum or Atwater or Kam or Polamalu.
Replace the knockout effect with an acrobat effect, and change the name appropriately.

Agreed. Every time I catch the ball some 5 10 safety hits me and it looks like every safety you just mentioned hit me and the ball at once. It's ridiculous.

Yeah, the animations aren't very realistic or fun to watch.
Make them much more AP. One 1 DB should have a KO max on a team.

I agree. You have to be completely open to complete a pass in the game right now because every single player on opposing teams have a KO.

And then I watch with gift wrapped to a wide open wr on a 2 yard pass with the drops open passes no trait drop it. DDA is just programmed for ea to make money period

Facts. EA needs to respect the fact that people who don't spend money in game still decided to spend their money to buy the game initially. Just because I'm not willing to give up even more money doesn't mean I should be punished.
Earlier today, i went 9/25 passing. Every single incompletion was from a KO, it's fucking infuriating and it ruins the game. Don't tell me to make better reads, i should be able to hold onto the ball with 99 Carmichael when he has a step on a DB.

It drives me nuts too. KO's are way to broken. They should be nerfed, more realistic animations should be used, and the AP cost should be higher. Reading all of these responses has convinced me of that.

I forgot what the game was like in the past before abilities honestly. It's like the receivers catch everything with no abilities or they catch nothing with abilities. Where is the balance? The draft mode is the best thing all year and the defense sucks in that mode which is sad. We are giving them credit for a mode that is also bad but not as bad as MUT h2h.

LOL. Abilities used to be an extra boost to your player but now people just consider them part of every player and can't play without them.
Too late to ban, people spent real money to get cards for their OP abilities. That'd be a D move.
