One of the little things they do that are super annoying - Team Captains - if you’ve made the decision to give them all team chems like every year, then why not give them the ability to change the chem to any team after the initial 5 TP upgrade? Why do they have to go to 85 in order to use this feature - especially with very limited tokens to upgrade? Really makes no sense if the point of these is to promote Theme Teams and to help NMS- also, at 89, they STILL only get 2 ability buckets? Finally, why hype up a new Team Captain with the Season 2 release and then make it unattainable for everyone? There should be a few more token in circulation and you should be able to get at least one token a week to keep the program relevant and interesting. Come on EA - do better and make sense. Do you even have anyone playing your game to gain insight into what the players think/want?

Making sure you have to lose training and to get training which mean coin loss on your end and profit from gamers who need more training which is pack sells even when giving you free packs. It's the make them need it and want it and feed it to them strategy. EA has things in place for reasons and it's to profit from any way they can. Slow menus means longer in game which is tracked same way with freeze up its a way for people to log out and log back in. There are reasons for every little thing they do.
Honestly they don't have a lot of people playing the game this year. Look at how they are marketing it more. Last time I seen that if you buy madden in the next month or two you get so many free packs for three month plus something else.
I don't think they are hurting just yet but I don't think they sold madden games compared to last year. Just a hunch and going to a couple of game shops near me I have seen a lot of used disc copies of this year's madden returned.
Still the store part in the game is probably carrying them more than anything else. Well maybe the MCS and Twitch weekly drops people tune into due to sponcers. Honestly this year to me the store feels like walking into a Walmart with so many eye candies but these candies you can't see and must buy to gamble on chances and hopes for best of the best cards but designed to give out the minimal at a higher rate like going to a casino. That's why the 500 coin pack sits at the end of the screen to get your eyes on all the specials and a lot will get a hook and reeled in.
So they know what they as a company are doing and what people say and want the changes will be super minimal when they claim they are listening to the players. Remember Money talks and well you know what walks. If that roll reverses in large numbers then maybe you will see change and that's a big maybe.
