So, I am having same bad player movement as last year (lag or something?)/ HB Sandcastle

Last year i could not play Madden because of poor players movement. Cant cut with my RB. Cant move my QB well. My QB is slow to throw. About 4 months ago I hopped on Madden 22 (after last seasons connection issue and rage, I refused to play 23)  where I had an connection issue during the season last year and had the same issue I am having with Madden 23. But when I jumped on Madden 22 4 months ago, the game played great and I could control my players like I can if I was to play a challenge or offline. Guess what? The Madden 22 servers were likely not busy or crowded at that point as most were playing Madden 23. 

My internet is not the issue. My ISP laughs at me and I also see there is no issue. Interestingly. when the menus in MUT are slow, my gameplay is terrible. When the menus are fast I have solid game play. 

Another thing I notice is I bought HB Sandcastle. I have route tech and evasive on him. He isnt any better than Warrick Dunn. Only thing he has better is the deeper speed. Dunn's with evasive is wayyyy quicker. Heck, its like I dont even have evasive or route tech even on Sandcastle. He never lights up. Also, how is it 99 speed sandcastle cant outrun a DE to the outside? Total "show" card unless you run him on a wheel or streak and hit him deep. He is not any better running routes even with route tech than Dunn.  Total scam card.

My OL is now acceptable. However, if you guys notice, most games when you get close to the redzone your OL will suffer from poor blocking and get shedded. This is purposefully coded into the game to keep it close so Little Jimmy doesnt get upset and quit.

Now I know why I stopped playing this game. Its a total rage game that really, you can feel is controlled by coding. The animations have taken over user control. i remember like, NCAAF and Madden in the early 2000's. There werent any animations like today. And the user control was way better. Nowadays you can feel the programming and coding behind your players movement because it has animations. Anyways, you can be better than your opponent but there is nothing you can do when the game makes you players dumb-out in coverage or your OL just allows instant sheds or doesnt block. All meant to keep the game close and keep you playing. The better you are the more BS you encounter. Last night I threw a BS pick 6, then on the kickoff I let the kickoff go to bounce into the endzone. Yet, it lands at the one and my player pick it up and gets tackled into the endzone for a Safety. 

Its like you can feel the game is saying "youre not meant to win this one, buddy".

370mbps-425mbps. ISP is Charter (Spectrum). I dealt with this BS last year as well. Talked to EA. They said it appears it is not their fault and not my ISP's fault, but the intermediary Servers (who owns them IDK) in between the two.  My main complaint is I dont have any issues streaming anything else. It has always been Madden. And as I said, Heck, I just hopped on Madden 22 and the game-play was good. It makes me think Madden servers are overloaded. But, no one else seems to have an issue.  I will also say I usually can get an acceptable connection when it is very late at night (or early in the morning for some folks).  Leads me to believe it is a EA Server issue. Or again, a Server in between. 

IDK. Its very annoying. I am playing with terrible movement and still winning. Although I have lost to complete bozo's because of it. I started out very good. Lately as my team has gotten better OVR, I am getting totally programmed against. For example, last night played some guy with 94-95 speed CB"s. I have Christian Watson and Julio Jones (combine cards) and they couldn't get open against drags against man-coverage.  Both of them have Route Tech as well.

Laughable. 

Also, I figured 99 speed HB Leon Sandcastle with Route Tech would be a great addition on Texas routes and out and in routes. He never lights up and doesn't get any more separation than Black History Month Warrick Dunn. The only thing I will say about adding HB Sandcastle is he seems to get better blocking than Dunn. I have busted a few 20+ yard runs. I think it is just because he is rated so highly so the coding lets him get the better blocking. He also is good when people are running man-coverage and using the doggy water 6-1 blitz. I block the TE and put him on a wheel route and he Cooks. I have hit him for a few long TD's and long gains this way. Other than that he is not any better than Dunn. Actually, his player movement is worse than Dunn. And both have Evasive.

Oh, forgot these moment of rage as well:

One game, sacked the QB and he fumbles. All of my guys stood there and just looked at the ball and literally for 3 seconds. Waiting for the offense to recover it. 

Another game, i was in a very good game against a solid opponent. Tie game. I went for a game-winning FG with 2 seconds left on the 10 yard line. He iced my kicker. Ahh....no big deal right? Think again. Ball clucked off the upright like a magnet was in the ball.
