Am I screwed for redeeming an AKA champion now since I wasted 6 tokens or whatever it was?

any other way to get token?

The description in the 6 token exchange is not clear, so I did the same thing last Monday. You wasted the 6 tokens because you ended up with a BND 84 player. All you can do is QS the 84 for training or use in your lineup and then collect tokens via solos until later in the year.

Do we know how many aka tokens will be earnable?  I’m doubting they give us six extra.

I don't think we know for sure yet. We know at least 34 will be earnable but only because the set for a bnd champion requires that many.

I did the same thing  Thought it was the set that needed to be completed. Not a big deal, but would’ve been nice if I knew this beforehand.

man, I am just getting started on these aka challenges and they are time consuming. I was reading the description, and it made no sense so after digging and digging I put it all together and could pretty much tell the 6 token set was not going to be worth it and coming here last, I just found out it would have been an 84. Madden could have easily stated this with a description, but they love being discreet when they can. This is a great lesson, never rush until you know for certain what you're getting from Madden because they probably got a plan to stick you with something worth a $2 for 3 hours of your time.
