Sochi's New Release Thoughts #1 (M23, Ultimate Kickoff, Release #2)

New thing I'm gonna do whenever a new release for every program is revealed/released. 🙂

It's just me sharing my honest thoughts with yall on the new releases. Directly from my brain, to the MUT.GG MUT Discussion forums. 🙂

LTD:

RG Brandon Scherff 

Arguably the best OLineman in the game? Yes. Great stats all around? Yes. Did we really need a 2nd 90 OVR LTD RG when we already got Jahri Evans from the Legends program? No. EA could've given us a new RT since the best ones are only 87 OVR. But EA will do what EA wants, not what the community wants. ☹️

Champions:

HB Christian McCaffrey - Offensive Champion

Looks like EA gave 90s to CMC and Saquon, aka the two HBs that have been made out of glass and paper for the past few NFL seasons. These will make the best HB duo in MUT, hopefully they will be two of the best HBs this year irl if they stay healthy. 🙏

LOLB Von Miller - Defensive Champion

A new best LOLB in the game who will hopefully lower the prices of 89 OVR Legends Mike Vrabel and 88 OVR Core Elite T.J. Watt (get better soon 🙏). A must have for me because he is one of my favorite defensive players OAT. 🙂

Heroes:

Offense - 

No one rosterable or worth using imo. But the 🐐 George Pickens getting an upgrade is a W. Did Allen Robinson and Matt Ryan really deserve an upgrade though?

Defensive - 

A new 3rd string SS in either Budda Baker or Tyrann Mathieu depending on if they're better than Grant Delpit. 🙂

My boy Foye gets an upgrade too. 💪

And RIP to D.J Reed Jr's father, Dennis Reed Sr. 🕊️

House Rules Reward:

CB - James Bradberry CB

Maybe not one of the 87 OVR Heroes, but a new upgrade is what he deserved for his performance on Sunday (this hurts to say as a Lions/Cowboys fan). ☹️

Lower Elites:

More coins and set parts. 🙂

Also when Geno Smith's best card is better than Russell Wilson's best card. LET GENO COOK!!!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Evans IS the best BUT Scherff is only a point or two lower and less than half the cost of Evans so thats a better realistic goal.

Agree on Barky and CMC and called it on both :P

Von Miller is absolutely nuts. And for Steelers TT I hope he crushes Vrabel/Watt prices. 

Heroes: Big agree. They just wanted to give some people who had golds or low elites higher cards. Pickens and Juju wont really start on my Steelers TT (thats how good other wr are that are free/cheap) but nice to have for later and can get both for free. 

Budda/Mathieu probably not better than Delpit but would make a decent SS2 or move delpit to user and use them up top. 

Bradberry getting a card since he didnt have one previous is nice. Just like they did with Julio (but people who start or cant make it wont get either so theyre still in the same place with no pups... Hopefully next season we get Redux back).
