Sochi's New Release Thoughts #3 (M23, AKA, Release #1)

90 SS Kam Chancellor

The. Best. Safety. In The. Game. Period. Enforcer and secure tackler for 1 AP a piece is nice. 89 speed, 91 accel, 92 jump, 91 zone, 91 hit power... my god.

90 LE Reggie White

Yes yes yes he's good best at his position blah blah blah BUT MY GOD IS THAT SOME BEAUTIFUL CARD ART. This mosaic-like card art is on par with Most Feared, Zero Chill, TOTY, and Golden Ticket card art of years past. I. Love. It.

90 CB Night Train Lane

Prob the best CB in the game, but not by much since Legends Chris McAlister isn't that far behind. The difference in some of their strength and stamina stats is gonna be pretty noticeable though.

90 HB Marshawn Lynch

Can't really say that he is the best in the game for sure since TOTW Saquon Barkley, Ultimate Kickoff CMC, and Campus Heroes Ricky WIlliams are still on par with him. They are all better than each other at certain things and not as good at other things. The card art def puts the "Beast" in Beast Mode.

90 TE Mike Ditka

He is a LOT better than Legends Jeremy Shockey. Obviously he is a lot shorter than Parham, but at this point the difference in their stats is too much to give up for 6 extra inches. Parham can be my TE2 though. 🙂

90 QB Ryan Fitzpatrick

Ryan Fitzmagic. The journey man. The guy who looks good in anything. I was hoping for 93 awareness so he could get Hot Route Master, but i knew that was a loooooooong shot.

The Issues I Have With The Content In General:

No, this is not going to be a complaint about their prices. This is a complaint about their content. 18 challenges and 72 stars.... for 2 82s? Really EA? I know we'll get tokens for a full BND AKA player, but that won't be for a while. A few people have pointed out how the $50 and $100 bundles are supposed to give you 82+ AKA players for their toppers. They don't. They give you ANY 82+ player. Is this a joke? 50-100 dollars for a bundle and you can't even make the toppers correct? Thank god I'm not buying the bundles, but hopefully the people that did/will get makerights soon. No rerolls, but ONE SINGULAR 87+ for 5K training. Christ EA no one expected it to be THIS bad. At least give us some more enjoyable rewards.

1 Kam is def king of the releases. Hes a step above Troy (literally with height) 
2. Reggie is solid but I think hes not that much better than whats out
3. NTL is super solid. A half step ahead of other CBs for sure but just barely
4. Beastmode unfortunately doesnt seem worth it. Too many copy cat cards near it already

4. Dikta step above everyone so far except Casper who you get for free. And you probably have 2+ of the other BND TE anyway at this pont. 
5. Fitz is nice. Fearless on him is awesome since it seems OP this year the way mechs work. Plus on TT he has a lot more than just Bledsoe has. 

Didnt know that was a thing on the bundles cuz I dont spend money but oof that does suck. At least we get one for free eventually.

For the 87s:
Kam \< Delpit
Reggie > Deacon
NTL = any 87s
Lynch \< Any 87+ rb
Dikta > Parham/Jackson
Fitz \< Russel/Teboew

See, In don't think NTL is the best CB in the game and In usually love NTL cards.  They game him accel below 99 and play rec below 90. Champ., McAlliater, and Hayes are all right there with NTL.

Reggie probably isn't the best edge rushers. LTD Chandler Jones, Wake, are just as good if not better. But Reggie cards always play well

Madden 23 is a game more.about inside running and not so much break away long runs. As a Gianta fan I love Saquon, but unless you throw to your RB a lot (CMC) then I think Marshawn and Rickey are the best HB in the game. Saquon and Bettis are just behind. 

Kam, well that's the best card of this release. Dominant card. His 87 was dominant for me and I run a 90 OVR team.....so this new card is awesome . Giants fan so Ditka won't replace Shockey for me.

i bought an early bird AKA something or other.  purchased the pack, the system froze... and no pack when I logged back in.  My fault for the impulse purchase but I was hoping to pull that Kam card.
