whats up with the scoring ?? undefeated all madden mode always just a few k short ?? starting to grind my gears 🤬 ... im shutting down their offense i dont get it ?
It comes down to the stats you rack up, how many points you score (up to 50, over 50 is unnecessary if I'm not mistaken). get 30 1st downs. 3 pass TD, 3 Rush TD. get sacks, turnovers, don't allow any points/ yards if possible.
things like that.
I've yet to see anything official from EA in regards to the scoring system for Solo Battles. But, I know there are a few ppl on Youtube with videos giving tips and suggestions at how they believe the scoring system works. That's where I'd look next if no one can point you in a better direction.
Usually u want…
-20 first downs
-5 user sacks
-lots of user tackles
-fumbles and picks
-100+ rushing yards
300+ passing yards
-2 rushing TDs
-4 passing TDs
-90+% completion percentage
-hold opponent to under 6 pts(try for 0)
-Throw 0 picks get sacked 0 times and fumble 0 times
-always play on hardest difficulty
if u do all this per game u will get top 100 for sure! if u throw a pick or get sacked dont quit! always finish ur games even if ur not merting all the requirments!

Some solid advice on here already. Solo Battles are drastically different on each version. I've scored in the top 5 on both PS4 and PS5 with a few number ones this year on PS5 and one last year on PS4. It is much easier to get top 10 on PS5 but so much easier to get the defensive stats on PS4 due to the punt block defense.
To be honest, it isn't worth the time. I've had numerous weeks wiped out due to the CE-108255-1 error report, so that is hours down the drain for minimal rewards.
My goals for each game were
Offense: 30 first downs,
30 completions,
As close to a 158.3 QBR as possible,
400+ passing yards,
4-5 passing touchdowns,
At least 200 rushing yards,
2-3 rushing touchdowns
Defense:
0 yards allowed, best to get them in the negatives,
4+ INTs,
10 sacks seemed to be the max,
2-3 fumbles forced if possible, this one is difficult,
and I seemed to have better scores when I didn't allow a first down.
This may be overkill, but my scores were solid when I aimed for those numbers. The amount of points they score against you does not matter whatsoever. You just want to limit their yardage.
Special Teams also plays a critical role as a kick return touchdown gives you a nice bonus. If you're shooting for top 100 it probably won't be necessary but if you're looking for top 10, you want to try to return 2 kicks for a TD.
I know this is a lot of information so let me know if I can clear anything up for you. The key to solo battles is time management. Every second matters.
I started out averaging 26200+ in my first 4 games this week and was then hit with the CE-108255-1 error again. That pace would have been good for top 3, likely number 1 again on PS5. Unfortunately, this has become too much of a headache for me so I may stop playing the mode entirely. Hope this helps some of you.

No problem , man. I hope the info helps. I really like the Seattle playbook this year. I'm an actual Raider fan, so when they took Strong H Wing out of our book I had to find the closest formation to that and Strong H Yoff has been a suitable replacement. I love the stretch lookie out of that formation. I just really miss the dive from the same formation as most people know what to expect. It is missing some of the better PA plays I enjoyed in Strong H Wing but it works. There is also a ton of RPO options in the Seattle playbook if that fits your playstyle.
As expected, I do run a 50/50 Raider team and primarily use Bo. He's the best back I have had all year. He is a great power back for me as that is my typical run style. I also have Craig and will cycle him in for some stretches and passes. Bo is the only power back that has done well for me this year. I didn't have the same experience with Henry as so many others did. If Bo is too pricey, maybe buy his power up and leave him at the level right below the Blitz card? He would do fine handling your short yardage while Craig handles the rest.
