I am currently running a 61 out of chiefs' playbook. I struggle with my defense with there always being holes. I have a 97 overall and can't seem to find why my defense always gives up big plays.
any suggestions

Try other defenses other than 61

BNOG and dollar and some good choices. Shouldn’t ever stick to one base defense and expect it to not ever get exploited

All out of chiefs playbook ;)
I was in your shoes, I just switched from 6-1.
i spent HOURS on YouTube to try to find my defense.
I think the best one that was worked for me is dollar.
i will admit, it does play the run little inconsistently because the blitzing linebacker doesn’t always shoot through the A-gap.
but it works well for playing the underneath if you shade underneath and does a great job stopping RPO’s(make a play with your user on the run or your D-line, man up the corner across the receiver you think it will be thrown to, and curl flat the outside corner.)
to stop the corners, just run Tampa 2 and it CLAMPS corner routes.
i went 7-2 in the divison right below Legend(im now in the 1% who is in legend division)
any questions just ask :)
What plays do you normally call? What adjustments are you making? What plays are giving you trouble? Are you using the best abilities for your scheme?
Judging by the abilities from the verified depth chart on your profile, your abilities may be part of the problem. RPOs are one of the best ways to beat 6-1 and none of your abilities help stop them. Short route ko, flat zone Ko, and even mid zone KO depending on the ball placement would all be better abilities when your opponent decides to pass on rpo plays.
Also I'm worried about your lack of deep KOs. If your opponent call 4 verts, you only seem to have three players with deep KOs. That means your opponent likely has a good matchup for a 50/50 ball somewhere. But maybe you're getting enough pressure for it to work.
Another thing most of your abilities are man abilities. Stock man coverage isn't great on current gen. It's fine as a change up. But I personally don't think it's good enough to be your primary coverage shell.
Also 6-1 is pretty popular so most good players have seen it a lot and know how to play against it. It's a good idea to understand the weaknesses of your formations and learn about other formations you can use to make up for those weaknesses if your opponent shows they can beat it.
Been having a little trouble defending the inside run despite my d line being designed to stop the run. 4-3/4-4 defenses too
Might just be the game rn, i just gotta find a way

Defense is a little tough this year, my suggestion would be try and make your opponent truly 1 dimensional and take away a type of attack, run or pass. Then build upon that

It was only a matter of time before you got yourself banned. Nice alt. Stalking is not a good look for you either
btw your racism is showing

Bye bye stalker. Can’t wait for whatever obsessed bs you got next. And the alt name too
61 is more of a glitch defense more than anything. But if that’s what you know then stick with it until you can learn completely something else. Do what got you here

biggest problem with youtube defenses is you didn't create it or lab it. So if someone just copies a youtube scheme and then it gets exploited they won't know how to fix it

I got the dollar idea from peatrick in this site(shoutout to him)
I rock with one of the Cover 4s in Nickel Over. I shade my LBs and slot corner depending on how the opposition is playing. I use all of my x-factors on the DL (2 Colossus, 1 UF) and have KOs on all the corners/safeties/LBs. I usually put contain on the ends so that they can prevent the roll out from getting better angles on my coverage. I user the MLB or one of the DTs depending on how they play.
