Surprise Program

Anyone got any ideas on what the surprise program is that is coming out on Thursday? Ring of Honor or a different program?

Definitely a different program because they already foreshadowed ring of Honor when season 5 started. Hopefully something cool like modern day masters

Not sure but I have a strong feeling it’ll involve some OOP players for some reason.

I also feel like this will be the week the market gets addressed in some way. I can’t see them lowering the threshold but I could see this be the week they finally decide to bring TVPs back

Backyard ballers should return!

Ring of Honor or Backyard Ballers would be nice I honestly could not care less as long as they drop some bomb cards with good abilities that make sense and aren‘t the fifth time upgrade of that player this year. If it’s  players who are on the first or second card this year with good abilities and  they could call the promo anything they want with whatever card art they want. I just want new and good cards.

Oh maaan, please take my money, EA!  Here's another $50... no no, let's make that $100!  Hope they give us a 3% chance at the LTD so we can try to quicksell them for coins once the AH is flooded with cards that aren't nearly as good as Bo, let alone most of the Superbowl/Combine stuff that dropped 2+ months ago.  OOF.

Pathetic, but you basically just described the entire state of the game as it's been for months.  Unbelievable.  We already knew they didn't understand, nor play their own darn game, but they really shot themselves in the foot giving us legit good cards that are difficult to upgrade.  I feared it'd be another repeat of Quadfather, but goodness, it was way worse than I could have ever imagined.

Sadly, far too few people know or understand to evaluate new cards in this manner.  I get it, we all love the big names and hype that surrounds the usual culprits, thinking Deion or Carmichael... but neither of them truly moved the meta forward.  I wish more in the community would understand exactly what you described above -- the correct approach is to match up abilities to areas of grass on the field.  We understand the meta (sadly, EA does not) and we know how we're all going to play the game, so is it that difficult to understand what makes up a truly good, let alone elite player or card?

Of course i'd love to see more of my favorite theme team players, but at the end of the day, the names and pictures hardly matter, some physicals do (or might) but honestly, abilities are everything, especially now that we're in the end-game.
