Taking Advantage of the Legends Theme Team

Legends Team. Oh Legends Team Chemistry. What more needs to be said?

Arguably the BEST Theme Team in the game, Legends Teams are running rampant through MUT this year. This team is permeated by some, if not, the vast majority of the expensive cards in the game currently; we are talking Megatron, Cameron Wake, Jahri Evans...the list goes on. With the state of the market with TVPs and #packstrike and pack odds and missing Trophy Packs and missing HR rewards and miss- this team is easily the most expensive team in the game. That means that it is difficult for No Money Spent to engage in this Theme Team, right?

Well, not really, no.

In fact, even though the Legends Theme Team is heinously expensive at the top end of the meta, it is actually one of the EASIEST for players to build and work on. While you do need some expensive cards for this team to be competitive, you can build the majority of this Theme Team by using back-up Chemistries to fill out those spots that you can't afford the top-end players. 

I know, I know...I sound crazy, but let's take a deeper dive:

Every Legends and AKA PUP has assignable Legends Chemistry. EVERY ONE. You know the Legends PUPs you get every week from Challenges and that Marshawn Lynch Beast Mode that was in the AKA Welcome Pack when the promo first dropped.  Oh yeah, that Jacksonville Jaguars Legend, Tim Tebow we got for Campus Legends also gets Legends Chem

That means as of RIGHT NOW, 10/04/2022, there are 18 positions you can fill in with Legends PUPs from Challenges ALONE! That's almost half of the Theme Team's requirements. When you consider the distribution of the positions so far for Legends, it almost sneakily makes it one of the most player friendly Theme Team. ALMOST.

it’s a very easy base, with pups and CH. just going 40/50 gives you everything you’ll need and if someone doesn’t have a legend chem can still use  or if you want to wait for a better player

I personally love all the legends as I’m a football buff, but I never liked physical attribute boosts in these games. Technique stuff yes

I had no idea tbh. So you can actually play Legends instead of “buy at auction“ or “complete sets?” Because I don’t have nowhere near the kind of coins they want you to spend on completing their ragged as hell sets.

I’m a fan of it.  It’s kind of nice to take a break from building the typical TT and being sad when your team gets no useable cards for several promos in a row.
