If I do all the team diamonds sets and redeem JJ Watt is it profitable?
I think it is but would take a long time and prob rly difficult to get all those cards
I just worked through it mostly over the past 2-3 days. You’d save 1-2 million coins building him over buying at 4.3-4.6 mil, as long as you sell the player cards that you are building.
Of note, buying and building him got me banned, so I can’t recommend it lol. I have a post on here if you’re curious about it.

Got you banned??? For what?

The ban references coin distribution or purchasing coins via 3rd party. I’ve only ever bought points through Xbox store and bought their packs.
What I think is happening is that whatever they’ve put in place control-wise in the AH to eliminate or reduce coin selling, is too sensitive.
I mean, you have to buy 950+ cards to complete the Watt or Gurley sets. Each of the TD cards is roughly 30 cards themselves, excluding the fact some of the underlying cards are also sets (division dynasty, ptotw, HL, etc). I think volume of buying and what you are buying triggred their flags.
There is usually 3-5 in each TD team set that is being gouged as well. Basically people selling a card for 50-75k that should sel typically for 5-15k. I would surmise the individual(s) is cornering the market on those cards, because of rarity, shared use in multiple sets and maybe they hate their division rivals lol. I also think the purchasing of the cards, with their variance to the median pricing, gets you flagged by EA for coin distribution….
All these inflated prices are still within their min and maximum ranges when you’re reviewing pricing in the AH set by EA, which makes it all the more confusing.
Reason: Grammar

I did the set as well and then sold Watt. Started with 1.8 million coins, finished with about 6 million coins.
It takes long time and some patience. Could have made a bit more but bought some cards at premium to complete sets faster.
However as Motionez11 said watch out for the ban hammer. Doing this set got me banned from auction house as well. They didn’t take my coins like they did his, but can’t use action house. I put in appeal but haven’t heard back yet.
I think scarcity of cards and buying at higher than normal prices is what gets you in trouble.
