That said, I could see Jaelan Phillips getting a TOTY card, perhaps. His Playoffs 90 is a bit confusing but otherwise I don't think it takes him out of the running completely.

I hope Mad Maxx gets a new AKA card, he's the perfect candidate for it. It would also open the door to a guy like Brian Burns who also managed 12.5 sacks, albeit with further QB hits, tackles, and forced fumbles. 

Ultimately though I just respect Maxx's game and think he should get boosted for it.

49ers are so stacked IRL. Madden doesn’t give enough recognition to a lot of their players. CMC needs an upgrade as well as Aiyuk who was crazy during Deebo’s injury. Dre Greenlaw and Charvarius Ward are also very good and need better cards.

MAAAAAAAAN, I want him so bad. Charvarius is also a bit of a stinger, but Deion, Sherman, and Woodson are able to fill that hole well enough. But Greenlaw, man. So badly want a ROLB that's not a best of 85, and Greenlaw should very much be that with the way he's played this season.

Couldn't agree more on Aiyuk as well, dude's been getting shafted the last two years. Thankfully he got a 90 this season earlier than he even got an elite last season (Madden Machines).

I was considering that, and I don't doubt there's a likelihood of them choosing one of the two if they choose to go that route. That said, if they do take on someone else, I think they'll go with Peterson over Bradberry. Love Bradberry, but Pat Pete has had two more picks, two fewer deflections, and almost 20 more tackles. That said, Bradberry has only an 87, but I feel like that might be addressed with this next wave in Playoffs.

Lol, I don't know what to tell you man. Advanced metrics have Lindstrom as a better RG all-around this season. Besides, the promo is for the team of the year. If this were regarding players whole résumés, then yeah he'd be on here in a heartbeat.

To a point, I agree. The community involvement last year was definitely more fun with the vote, but you end up getting nominees that perhaps didn't actually overperform in the regular season (i.e., Trent Brown last year) and are just there for fan service. And by all means, that sort of stuff would be cool for other promos, and I'd like to see it. But with regards to the year, I think it comes down to how well EA chooses the candidates. Because without that, it ends up as a popularity contest with pretty much all of the big TTs getting paid out (as a Niners' fan and TT, I'm certainly not complaining about last years' lol.)

That said, I really think your list of candidates is really well-thought-out! A lot of good candidates there who did a good bit during the season and could/should earn upgrades soon.

Also give the Raiders another one lol. Bolton gets all AFC West chems.
