I just want to say thank you and happy to be back and contributing to the community. The game has some flaws but if we could all come together in a positive way I believe this game will be better In the future.

Unfortunately, nothing short of giving our beloved Madden franchise the Concord, or Ubisoft style treatment will result in any positive changes. Unless/until the league decides to open up their exclusive licensing rights, nothing can or will change. EA gives exactly zero fucks and has demonstrated the gloves are now off, they're going to continue pushing out as much low effort, recycled content as possible...
Welcome back, although you were almost certainly better off remaining retired.

We should give MUT the Battlefront 2 treatment.

Oh man, yer really about to trigger me -- i got back into console gaming, specifically for Battlefront 2. Grabbed this PS4 Pro (around December 2017) and was kind of pumped. Star Wars and 49ers football have been my two lifelong passions, which still persist to this day. Disney has mucked things up for SW even more than EA has done to Madden.

Are you a fan of the Mandalorian or the Obi Wan Kenobi series?
If you are, when is a new season coming out?

Absolutely LOVE Seasons 1 & 2 of The Mandalorian. That season 2 finale of Mando had me extremely excited. I watched the finale every day for a week straight, maybe more. However, i just could not do season 3, show kind of jumped the shark at that point. Eventually I'll circle back and actually watch it, but at this point I'd rather have no Star Wars as opposed to terrible Mando.
Obi-Wan series was unfortunately pretty bad, IMO. Hopefully it never gets a second season. I'm not aware of any more in the works.
As far as Mando S4, still no official word. They might be focused on continuing this story via upcoming The Mandalorian & Grogu feature film, which I believe is currently scheduled for May 2026.
Don't snooze on Andor. EASILY my favorite Disney Star Wars stuff, absolutely fantastic, underrated show. Season 2 is scheduled for next year. S1 is a bit of a slow burn, but if you get through the first 3 episodes, you'll be rewarded. Stellar writing and powerful acting that still stands the test of time. Not only was this the best SW I watched in a while, maybe ever... probably the best show (anything, but just SW) I watched in 2022, or whenever it came out.
Next SW show is The Skeleton Crew, which is supposed to be some Goonies style kids adventure, there's a quick trailer out you could watch. I think it's due uhhh December maybe? Has Jude Law, but I don't know much beyond that. Have pretty low expectations, but hopefully I'll be surprised.

Thanks and I totally understand you. However instead on being against each other we need to be united. Also I quit last year I stopped around the zero chill promo. i have been playing however not as much and I don’t really care of winning or not. I just want a good game and build my team. This has helped me alot.
Also they added solo seasons and cutting the team theme to 20/20 helped in my opinion because now you won’t be so upset not getting a card for a week or two weeks for your team.

I will have to give Andor a try. I did like Vader in Obi-Wan. That alone made me ignore any inadequacies of the series.
I am not sure I will enjoy the Skeleton Crew. I watched the Penguin recently and having a young kid involved in that type of story line did not seem realistic or appropriate to me. Maybe if the character was 10 years older? Maybe if I was younger? Who knows?

Obi-Wan versus Vader will always be cool, you're 💯% correct with that aspect.
Andor was the most mature SW I have ever seen, I cannot say enough good things about it. There's no laser swords or Jedi stuff, so it can be easy to overlook the poorly titled series... hope I haven't oversold it, but my goodness I thought Andor was amazing.

Andor is insanely good, I'm really excited for season 2. I don't know if you watched Bad Batch or not, but it was really good. The animated shows tend to get the "kids show" label, but Bad Batch/Clone Wars/Rebels are some of the best animated shows out there
I really enjoyed Mando season 1 and 2. 3 could have been a lot better. If you ask me, the show really should not have undone a lot of the plot points for season 1 & 2.

That is a pretty slick looking PlayStation. I got into Battlefront a long time after the whole micro-transactions debacle. I personally thought it was a very good game. It's probably my second favorite Star Wars game of all time. I wish the 3rd one hadn't been cancelled.
And yes, Disney has really messed up star wars. I've been a big fan of it for a while now, but it just hasn't been the same lately. I didn't watch Acolyte and I honestly might not watch Skeleton Crew.

You sold me! I will put it on my watch list. This is a rough weekend though...some Madden, some CFB25, Georgia/Alabama, Penn State/Illinois, Steelers/Colts, Bills/Ravens, lawn mowing and some sleep. I wouldn't mind watching your 49ers destroy the Patriots either. I hold a grudge against the Pats for their antics used against the Steelers in the 2004 AFC Championship Game. A Brooks quote...“I can remember going into the game, and they knew the plays before we did,” Brooks told host Bill Colarulo. “I can hear all of those guys, Rodney Harrison say, ‘Draw, draw, draw, draw, draw.’ Then Ben (Roethlisberger) comes in, he calls a draw play and I’m like, ‘What is going on?’ Tedy Bruschi knowing the play, ‘Hey, hey, hey—they’re going to sprint to the right, sprint to the right. They moved an entire defense over because they knew our plays before it happened."
