I know that Madden hasn’t been exactly what we all imagined it would be, but I still think we need to just laugh about it because there’s no reason to get worked up over a video game and it’s just something to do when we’re bored or wanna have a little fun but the most annoyingly funny thing this year is probably how good Bo Jackson is at every position😂
Most annoying part game
all of the above lol
Literally 10% auction tax there is Literally no reason for it other than ea just hoeing for no reason

I will never get over the 10% auction fee. It’s not real money being exchanged. It’s virtual coins worth nothing outside of that year’s game. I hate having to do math to know how many coins I’m going to lose because I keep getting undercut by some dork who just has to have his sold first. The auction block blues

The AH tax is in place because if you didn't have it, people would literally sit on the AH all day long buying cards and reselling for 10 coins higher. Repeating the process over and over and over. If you don't believe that to be the case, then you don't know how toxic the MUT community is, and the lengths they'll go to in order to make coins in this game.
I had to explain the ea "tax" to my wife one time cause she was dumbfounded that there would be a tax in a video game. I guess I had just become numb to all of ea's nonsense lol.

The tax is literally the most logical part of this game. I'll save myself explaining it since someone else in the thread already has.
For me the biggest thing that kills me is the 1 play touchdowns and the RPOs. (I voted RPOs). Like if I ran the same 1 play touchdowns that people run against me, I would be winning SBs in the Legend division, but I'm not a cheap player so therefore I play to have fun.

I already read their explanation, I just disagree with it, as does nearly a third of those who submitted an answer on this poll.
Having to do mental math when selling a card in order to compensate for a tax in video game is very annoying. Also I have yet to know what ea does with the coins they collect. It is not like a governmental system where they use the "taxed income" to make the game better and give back to the community and improve it . There are other steps that could be taken to ensure a regulated market, but a pseudo "tax" is not a good solution.

You're point of tax being needed to regulate the market is flawed.
1. The tax only hurts the seller, not the buyer. There is no tax on those who BUY cheap cards under value, meaning those who still want to flip cards for profit can still go about to doing so, there profit margins are slightly smaller, but the tax does not affect how many cards the consume/buy.
2. If you are worried about sniping, then more market education is required not less. Ea has already incorporated the recommended sale price on a card, yet people still choose to sell below it. The tax its current structure only hurts the NMS player who cant afford to spend money the game as they have less coins to go around, not the buyer who as millions of coins available and will not be taxed on their end of the transaction for purchasing the card.
RPO’s and for me personally it’s not even close.
i don’t mind all the Bo Jackson’s (I have all but corner lol)
if there wasn’t a tax then EVERYTHING you sell for even just 5k more is profit(but it should be less than 10%, maybe like 5%)
I love tvps snd I really hope they get put into the game soon
if we had profitable glitches that would make every team a god squad lol
don’t mind the celebrating
RPO’s RUIN the game.

Abilities, in general, are an absolute nightmare. Because, of course, our professional athletes shouldn't be able to catch the ball unless we literally pay, by spending Training, to equip our QBs with abilities, such as Gift-Wrapped (on offense) or Pick/LurkArtist on defense. EA has failed numerous attempts to patch things, this game cycle (`24) alone, before ultimately reverting any changes and giving us (well, those of us on current generation of the game) 0AP LurkArtist, so linebackers are actually usable.
The obvious gambling mechanics in a "game for kids" is yet another complete and total farce. I'd love to take the high road and try to laugh it off, or pretend i don't care, but we all deserve so much better for our $100, if not much, much more that we've invested into our squads. I truly thought I was signing up for "simulation" fatball and was determined to become competent enough at the game, where I could eventually start playing (at least somewhat) competitively.
I've finally reached my goal, although my usage of the term playing "competitively" may be fairly loose, here. Through no fault of my own, the game remains a buggy ass mess. We're not learning the amazing game of football, the real path to getting good is by figuring out which route combinations will dumb out the coverage, which admittedly, isn't all that difficult to learn.
