Thoughts on Theme Teams

Guys I feel this years Madden has been very easy to obtain a high Theme Team overall.  I remember when I was playing with my Theme Team in previous Madden  games  and was Barely pushing 93 or 92 overall.  Its so simple in this years Madden , to where it's not even fun . I want to know what your thoughts are on this subject . as always keep it cool 😎

I have a 50/50 hawks tt thats a 98 ovr and its kind of boring to play the game now especially because there are a lot of needed upgrades and I want to use the arguably two best players on the seahawks and their best cards are 95 and 94 overall cards which arent really usable this time of year so i will probably just buy and use other players in the game i like until dk and k9 get cards

Every year that add more non pure TT players to make it easier. Look at FA they added what, 16 players at 98 that got all the chems?

I spent two months trying to collect and build myself a viable 49ers TT, but wasn't until i was able to plunk down $22 for the 49ers pack that i was able to start running a full on 50/50.  So yes, it's been easy in recent months, but prior to that, i'm not so sure.

What is most upsetting is the fact that ALL players are now getting +1 (from FA Journeyman) or +2 (Sugar Rush)  strategy card Speed bonuses, which basically eliminates the advantages of running pure 50/50 theme teams.  I wish they'd remove the entire Legends roster, or do something to make the regular teams more competitive.  I'm not sure how i'll approach it moving forward, but seriously considering trying out 40/40 49ers theme team before i give up on it entirely.  YMMV.

I'm fine with some theme teams being better than others. IRL, it would be crazy to say the texans are just as good as the chiefs. However, I think all theme teams should at least be good enough to be competitive if you have the best available items for the theme team. Personally, I would like to see EA move away from players that get every team chem aside from maybe rare/exceptional cases like the John Madden item this year. If EAs going to continue pushing theme teams, I would like to see team builder programs be a weekly thing. A weekly drop that targets needs of the theme team that's a bit behind on the power curve.
