Are Theme Teams even necessary at this point in MUT? I have 25/25 Bucs and it’s boosting maybe 4/5 players. But all my starters are already a 99 ovr with pretty good to max speed at every position. And to build a theme team I feel I would have to get players the have various overalls. Idk just wondering if people are still using them.

I definitely think some players aren't worth it just so it adds to your theme team. Like Zach Allen for example. Dude is absolute 99 garbage. Is it really worth it to me because he's a bronco... so I sent him back to the binder and brought back Aaron Donald.
I'd agree with you. At this point it's about the OOP 6'7" most broken ability stack xfactors if you want to compete H2H with the sweaty cheese boys

Just depends on playstyle really at this point with the newer cards with built in abilities & X-factor abilities
I run all broncos everywhere so the boost help out alot with Awareness & Play Recognition to get that to 99 & it also maxed out all the important stats on all my players that see the field
big difference in reaction time on Defense & my O-Line performs alot better plus they’re speed is nice on screen plays

Man I need a better strat card. I have the combine strat and some other older ones but the combine strat card only boost Lamar cause he can switch promo chems. Doesn't seem like there really are any that will help any of my other players. I do have y2k chems that probably boost like 4 of my guys. But other than that and my bucs chem most of my guys have base stats. But most of my guys are top tier. would be nice to get some speed for my LB's though.

At this point it’s all about abilities. I’ve moved on from Combine though that’s prob still the best.

Every week I think I have a top squad and than they drop way better cards. I've only been playing for a little over a month now but it seems like this happens all year lol.
