its so much butt that the only way to play legit defense is to run certain blitzes, it doesnt matter what you do, if you call zone they all play like match coverage and leave things wide open, or they just stand there, im so tired of have shoot outs, its not fun having to score 70 points to win.
I actually started running short plays and running clock because these arena football games were literally no fun, now it’s just me stealing a possession with the time or a lucky fumble or me making a poor read into my opponents user every game

same like i wanna pass deep, but its either im torching them all game long and i drop 70, or theyre sending the house every play and im just getting absolutely killed. so i end up playing like 2 games and getting bored. this is the fastest ive ever feel like madden is dead, content is ok, you cant grind xp, you dont really get any packs from anything, the market is capped, and its just an offense shoot out that boils down to whoever gets 1 stop wins the game. its just no fun rn, ive never been so bored in madden at the start
I forced a punt on my opponent's first possession in my first Champs game of MUT 25, but that was after his money-OVR team housed a punt with Hester, and then housed a pick on my next possession. My complaint isn't about defense being bad, but about my opponent's four-man pass rush insta-gapping me for quick sacks, and about NMS being absolutely hosed at this phase of Madden.

the 4 man rush is literally just crash your dline, and slant inside, it gives them insta sheds, its so dumb. but the defense it literally 1 stop wins the game, i just watched a ladder game from the pros, where the final score was 49-48. thats 97 points scored. they scored on every drive they had, thats crazy
its been fun as hell, been grinding mut champs, ranked games and gauntlet for rewards. This year is def catered to h2h players, I can see why it wouldn’t be fun for someone who isnt as into h2h.

Hester was a bonus card if you bought an prelease package, so it's not evidence of a money team.

I didn’t get Hester, because I didn’t pay extra money for Deluxe Edition. I didn’t get a beefed up Sam Cosmi. I didn’t get a crack at the rest of the Ultimate Preseason field pass. The guy I played against had Champion Raheem Mostert, and was able to throw his Season Pass 1 upgrade tokens at other players. He had four or five other champions on his team. My starters were his depth.
Yes, it was a money team, even if he only spent $30 more than I did. Between the platinums sold and the extra access to player items, he had a huge advantage over me.

Sorry but totally disagree with that assessment. A lot of that is grinding and working the market. You are just being a baby at this point. Good luck going forward.

i like h2h i always play every year, but the defense is killing me, if only they acted like they were on the football field, and not clueless i wouldnt be mad

A lot of that is grinding? How do you grind out three millon coins at this point? You don’t. I’d accept an obsessed-with-the-auction-house approach because that was me last year, but the auction house was broken for almost the entirety of the early-play period.
But, yeah, if it makes you feel like more of a man to call me a baby because I think it sucks that kiddie cash makes that much of a difference, well, just don’t get married. Your wife won’t think your a man because you spent a week off work playing a video game so you could dominate in one-sided fights.
