this game is turning into madden 23.....

discounted abilities,3 set  formations, corner routes, verts, OOP players better than 95% of cards in the game  I mean it's  absolutely sad......

I feel like discounted abilities and oop were always going to happen since they make EA money.

Meta formations and plays probably won't change significantly unless EA decides to massively change how the game plays

With defensive players unable to get a ball without ability i'm happy to have discounted ones. I mean theres no point not having Dbs able to catch a ball without pick artist, same with lurk artist for LBs. I no longer use gifwrapped but all QBs needit it at the beggining of the game. EA is making abilities necessary just to play a game without beeing frustrated by missed picks or missed passes when WRs are opened. This is just another way to make players open their wallets or at least upgrading teams to stay competitive. I get your point but the problem isn't free abilities, its that abilities are needed to play a normal game.

M23 still about 5 times better than this year.
