I been thinking of trying edge threat just dont know who to put it on maybe my OLB or my RE/LE... I mean I'm not even sure if edge threat is even effective or worth it. So what's ppl experience with the ability and how and who do you have it on... also remember I'm on next gen

I tried it for a few games on Ware and Youngblood and it didn't make a difference. they are better as contains in the current meta so Edge Threat is pointless. I'd focus AP on the secondary. Had decent success using Under Pressure on the main rush DT to force Henry into missed throws/picks.
I didn't like it on next gen.
Double or Nothing and unpredictable is the only thing I've found that seems to even remotely work. DON doesn't work more than double the AP that unpredictable does though, so I've just used unpredictable as of late.
Other than inside stuff, I've found dline abilities to be pretty lackluster this year.
To mirror lachry - next gen I haven't gotten ANY of the dline abilities to do jack crap for me. Inside stuff on jack youngblood at the beginning of the game was great, but it seems to do nothing now.
Thanx everybody looks like edge threat won't be getting used
I’m on current gen so this might not be completely relevant but I noticed edge threat wasn’t that useful unless 1. You have one on both sides of the line. 2. At least one is edge threat elite (so it had under pressure built in)
One edge threat was barely noticeable but with one on both sides they couldn’t just double team it, and the built in under pressure caused a lot of “under pressure” interceptions that would have been completions otherwise.
I've tried Edge Threat and Edge Threat Elite on both my ends for a full h2h season each. You need it on both to have an impact or they'll just double team one all game. Edge threat isn't OP like it was on old gen last year, and a waste of 2 AP, imo.
The built in 'Under Pressure' on ETE was what I noticed the most. Still engaged with blockers or getting separation just as a WR gets open to cause an inaccurate throw was way more beneficial imo. Not worth 4 AP, though... But is Under Pressure worth 2 AP?
I'm testing that out right now... I have Under Pressure on Danielle Hunter, since he seems to get the best organic pass rush out of all my D-linemen. I'll likely try putting Under Pressure on 2 and then 3 lineman, and see if it makes life a living hell for the passer.. I would hate to have to deal with that as an offense and I think it could cause quite the headache.
