thoughts on the sugar rush promo?

I was just hoping for a way to get eggs EA and you messed it up all we wanted was a training reroll but if its not making you money you don't care plus lets not forget all the other things wrong with dailys and no week 4 challenges and no free 98 at the end of field pass stop giving us these upgradable players and let us pick one we want

Pretty terrible promo, but I think we all saw this coming from a mile away. Especially after EA pulled a real Grinch for Christmas... at least that Zero Chill content was premier, even if nobody could acquire the LTD presents, the cards were amazing and I still see people using Gronk, Peppers, Carmichael, etc.

These new 99 LTDs do not appear to move the needle for me, Mid In + Mid Out is a little on the nose for some truly "mid" content. Oh well, AH least my Superbowl hybrid theme team remains relevant a while longer. I'm more interested in 97 Redux.

tbh same I saved a lot of coins Idc if the players ain't that good just make the eggs good I just wanna go crazy and have all these eggs I have the coins for it but no way to do it

if i still was rocking my rams TT i would’ve been stoked about stafford……but im not……so i dont care much about the promo……will work what i have to to get through the pass and get the season xp, other than that i dont care

After reading the earnings call transcript for EAs last quarter, it seems very clear to me this company is very out of touch with its user base. 

They believe everything is good and great. Madden Ultimate Team did grow by 19% and earnings were up. People are still playing and spending, however if you really want to be competitive in MUT and cant play all the time then you have to spen money. However, even playing all the time the rewards are terrible in my opinion. And I still subscribe to the thought EA does cheat you in your playoffs and Super Bowls as much as possible. And...it takes about 30-40 mins per game in H2H. That's quite a bit if playing. 

I dont spend money on the game because I truly don't see the point in spending money to make your team great unless you're playing in the MCS or money games. Why else would you spend money on packs, unless it has some sort of financial gain?

This company is not going to change and its amazing to read the leadership lie in their earnings transcripts. 

They believe everything is great because the growth numbers say so. Well, the numbers  say so because there is not another NFL game to play. They have made REGS a mode where you can only play with 5 teams or so because unless your QB has an "ability" they cant throw past 15 yards. This is why many play MUT. That said, MUT is a good mode when it is more competitively balanced. But, unless you play all day or spend money...you cant be competive.

Release glowing DL and then only release 3-5 OL that can block them? 

Until people stop supporting the product, nothing is going to change.

Release 1 Looks mid, but ZC release 1 did too. And ZC ended up being one of the best/the best promo this year.

ZC has its own promo chemistry but SR currently does not.

I have been waiting months for a Dee Winters upgrade, so I'm extremely excited that Sugar Rush is bringing us an 89 Dee Winters.

Without trying to get too overtly political, it's almost as if the system is corrupt and broken.  This is free market capitalism at its best, right?  At least we're not getting the doors blown off airplanes mid-flight, it could be a Boeing level of sheer terror.  I'm not aware of EA having executed any whistle-blowers (yet), to the best of my knowledge... without trying to make light of a serious situation, i guess it could be worse.  I just want to smash my controller, not feared for my life or well-being from EA, but this is extremely nefarious and wholly out of touch with reality, as you so accurately pointed out.
