So far this seems to be the meta blitz this year. Blocking a HB and sliding very occasionally works but still doesn't give you enough time for more down field routes. Anybody got good ideas? I fucking hate early MUT with idiot just running cheese blitzes and not having to actually play defense.

So many ways to win Against mid blitz
bring in a wr in motion across the field and snap the ball when he’s at the line. Turns into a blocker and dummies out his man coverer. Then run literally any route combo and somebody is open after the break
If that don’t work then just try running stretch lmao

my solution is switching to spread double flex. it spaces out their defense so their user can only take away 1 quick option from the 2 inside slot receivers or worry about the RB flat leaking out. Also an inside corner route is an auto TD if they shade inside after getting burned by slants.

Thank you. Should note I haven't been able to play against it since I didn't get CFB due to being on PC. I'll try this out!

Gun formations with 2 TE attached + inside PA works well. The blocking on inside PA passes work well I find vs A gap heat. Especially if they are pinching.
I'd look into the Wing formations. Like Gun Wing Slot.
